The changes that I
made was I changed
the font style . I also
changed the style of
the rectangle box to
make it fit in with the
theme. . I also added
more artists and
changed my logo.
Safe working practice
On photo shop I opened up an image I took before creating the
poster and used it as the back ground. I chose blurred image of
blades of grass with water droplets as it tends to rain a lot at
concerts. Before placing the other images on my background I
used the ruler tool to bring up the line which will help keep the
text and certain images in line with one another .Next I got my
image of my model who was going to represent the type of
people who would be going to these concerts. Wide big hair ,
flower crowns and sunglasses as there will be some signs of
sunshine. On the image of my model I got rid of the background
by using the ‘quick selection tool’ and went around each strand
of her hair which was out of place before place the image on the
poster. The next thing I did was open the logo images of twitter
and instagram and used the ‘quick selection tool’ again to get rid
of the white background before placing it onto my poster. Next I
used the text tool and used the fonts ‘Pony Maker’ which I used
on my magazine for ‘Disco’ and ‘ HFF Whirly Whorl’ for the
‘festival’ , artist , dates and slogan font . Around the text with the
festival artist I have placed a light green rectangle by using the
‘rectangual tool’ , ‘paint bucket tool and ‘eyedropper tool’ and
lower the opacity of the shape .On the disco font I change the
colour to an ombra colour , which follows my poster of
inspiration as it used lots of colours in its masthead. Finally I
picked an image of sunglasses that used a lighter light effect and
had a reflection in the lens to create my logo. I used the ‘ quick
selection tool’ to get rid of the background before placing it on
the poster, I then used the text tool and typed in my slogan using
the ‘HFF Whirly Whorl’ font before placing it on top of the sun
glasses .

On photo shop I opened up an image I took before
creating the poster and used it as the back ground. I
chose a focused image of blades of grass with the
water droplets which again helps to represents the
type of weather that will take places at the concert.
Before placing the other images on my background I
used the ruler tool again to bring up the line which
will help keep the text and certain images in line with
one another. The next thing I did was open up a
different image of sunglasses which had different
lighting, and some reflection in the glasses . To
remove the background I used the ‘quick selection
tool’ and went around the edges of the sunglasses.
Next I used the text tool and used the fonts ‘Pony
Maker’ which I used on my magazine for ‘Disco’ and ‘

Equipment
For my presentation environment I have taken photos of the following thing that where used to
help present my pitch to the publisher. I used a computer to help get up my presentation ready to
present to the publisher .I also used an interactive whiteboard to help present my slide at an
larger scale which was easy for my audiences to see. Next I used a slide changer which helped me
to change the slides as I was talking , so I wouldn't have to keep going to the computer to change
slides. Finally a tripod and camera was used to record my presentation and to keep the camera
still ,so the footage would have good quality
Photos used
The reason why I chose these images
is because they link to the purpose of
a music festival. When at a summer
festival which my poster is advertising
, people tend to where flower crowns
and sunglasses to keep the sun out of
their eyes, so they can see the
entertainment on the stage.
Legal and ethical Constraints
There are a few legal and ethical issues that need to be follow when carrying out my advertising
campaign. Firstly, if I were to use any models it would be necessary to have the correct model release
forms signed so that I have their consent. Secondly it would be important that no offensive or violent
language is anywhere on my adverts and that everything stated on there is the truth otherwise there
would be defamation and libel. I would need to make sure that all my products are copyrighted so that
no one can copy my ideas and that if I am going to use bands’ logos for example that I have permission
so that it would not be an offense. All these regulations could potentially affect my campaign message
because any consumer could complain about if anything was misleading, for example the dates or who
will be there, and to not promote for a younger youth where it may be potentially dangerous if they go
so therefore it would be better to encourage the public of an older age and not persuade children that
they want to go. Lastly you have royalties and this means that if I wanted to use the artists’ logos, for
example, they would receive royalties because I’d want to use their work.
As for representation, I need to make sure that there are no stereotypes and that I have the festival in
mind and stick to the theme so that I do not offend anyone or single people out.
