1. My audience would be
attracted by the use of
bright colours on the
front of my music
magazine such as red
and blue these colours
were chosen for the
purpose of standing out
and making the
magazine appear vibrant
to the audience. The
convention use of a large
masthead title and
interactive picture would
also help attract my
audience. The main artist
picture present on the
front of my music
magazine makes direct
eye contact with the
reader.
I took the photo this way and
decided to use it in the magazine as
it would be a form of direct
address. This is aimed to entice the
audience into exploring the
magazine. As the artist is featured,
interviewed and is new to the
scene, it would appeal to fans of
the magazine and the genre. My
audience would also be attracted
by other features in the magazine.
For example there are competitions
that the readers can enter that
could result in them winning prizes,
trips and concert tickets of their
favourite artists. These features
were added in order to boost the
audience desire of the magazine.

was used to help the
overall appeal of this
magazine.
3. i used many of the tools
available on the software, and
mainly used the paint tools to
create effects. Such as the ones
on my double page spread.
I used many different programmes to carry
out this task. To create my music magazine
front cover, double page spread and
contents page I used adobe Photoshop.
There are many different tools available to
use on adobe Photoshop, many of which
aided me in the production of my music
magazine as a whole. Adobe Photoshop
was also easy to navigate. I also used
Photoshop to create my audience profile,
and artist profile.

5. • I used google chrome in order to carry out research for the task and
to obtain any materials I may have needed.
• I used Microsoft PowerPoint to create slideshows. These slides mainly
contained analysis and research of many different magazines. The
slides contained magazines that were real and also some contained
media production magazines.

used for my artist
research. This was
focused on
Alexandra burke
and lady Gaga. I also
used word to create
my artist interview
which would later
be used on my
double page spread.
Word was used to
produce my artist
profile paragraph
which gave a brief
overview of my
artist as a whole.
7. • Blogger is the blogging website I used to upload material. I have now
learned how to use and maintain a blog, after not being able to
previously.
• Slide share was used to upload power points to my blog.
