3. Pre-CVI Diagnosis
Before the diagnosis of CVI we
were always asking:
• Why doesn’t she look at us?
• Why does she look at the
edges of objects, and not the
objects themselves?
• What is it about transparent
objects that are so fascinating?
4. Helping her understand her world
• We wanted to be able to
produce material that would
pique our daughter’s interest
and be a conduit for learning.
• To do that we had to ask
ourselves what is Teresa drawn
to? What does she like?
• What are some of the
characteristics of these items?
