Personal Statement
I work hard and I like to develop my ideas pro-actively. I work well within a group as a sound
all round team player ready to listen to others and at times lead with the passion to achieve
set targets. Im creative and always ready to learn to ensure I am always ready to approach
obstacles and tasks from all angles and meet my deadlines to a high standard. Im self-
motivated; ambitious and driven by the challenge of pressure.
Employment Timeline
Coast, Supervisor 2014 / Present
• On a daily basis i am in charge of store figures, the everyday running of the store when the
manager absent, achieving targets set by the store, daily planner for staff, the opening and
closing of the store as well as the visual outlay. Im also responsible for cash handling morning
and night as well as all of the paperwork from previous day of business.
Bluebell Inn, Bar Staff/ Waitress, 2012 - 2014
• I was responsible for the opening and closing of the pub, cash handling, customer service,
stock rotation, training new staff, taking bookings and the general day to day running of the
business making sure everything is done before each shift.
H&M, Floor Manager, 2007 - 2012
• I manage a team of up to ten staff within the Menswear & Children’s wear departments on a
daily basis, ensuring I deliver a high standard of customer service at all times by supporting
staff with training on assisting the customer, daily routines to maximise sales opportunity and
efficient service one on one with customers from point of contact to purchase.
• I ensure all visual aids are in place for customers by assessing weekly and monthly profit
reports and at those times which works best to ensure high turnover in sales and delivering
this feedback to my staff to organise the departments visual look such as the A table and re-
situating popular items in key areas of the store.
• I plan ahead and schedule my staffs rota 13 weeks ahead to maximise availability and
maintain a healthy number of staff on both departments to support customers and our stores
service to them. I also provide monthly personal development programs with my staff to help
with their performance at work and work on their weakness to develop to strengths.
• I open and close the store on a daily basis by preparing the store ready for the following
working day. Admin is also a key role in my position as I monitor absence, holiday and have
meeting with my staff to discuss any concerns and deal with these issues with sincerity and
confidentiality.
Russell & Bromley, Sales Assistant, Feb 2007 - July 2007
• During this role I delivered a high level of personal customer service to individual customers,
ensuring that I met their requirements with sizing, product knowledge and staying with them
from start to end of purchase to maximise a high sales opportunity turnover and keep loyal
customers and create new.
• Responsible for cash handling between customers, staff and the tills we were allocated,
cashing up and reporting any loss to the managers at the end of business. • Managing the
stores layout by ensuring all tasks were completed before the stores opening and after the
stores closing to prepare for the following day of business by working as a team to deliver a
clean, tidy and attractive visual look for the store.
