blockof citrusseveral more timesayear thannormal,higher cost.Consequentlythe costprice of citrus
perpoundincrease considerably.Therefore the price perpoundof citrusmustcontinue toincrease in
otherfor the businessof citrustoremainprofitable due todiseasepressure.
Currentlythe use of Foliarfertilizersare spreadoncitrustreesatconsiderablyhigherratesthanbefore
for highyieldproduction.Pesticide applicationtiming,andpesticidechoice isrequiredforproduction
efficacy.
Due to citrus greendisease,the productionof citrusnurseriesincommercial quantitieswererelocated
indoorssoas providescleancitrustreesforthe plantingof citrusgroves.
