1. Good information on the 3 film openings chosen. Watch out for capital
letters for film names please.
2. Good research and detail on the history of the genre. You need to check
some of your spellings throughout this prezi eg quite instead of quiet.
3. Good target audience research
4. Script and shooting script well written in the correct format
5. Evidence of ideas presented
6. Good storyboards. Would be useful to be able to be able to zoom in on
your storyboards (when you click on your prezi it sends them upside
down)
7. Good detailed shot list. Again would be useful to be able to zoom in on
this.
8. Well drawn out floor plans
9. Excellent location scouting. Your abandoned building in the forest will be
perfect setting for your film.
10.Good research on costumes and makeup for your characters.
11.Clear research of props. Perhaps refer to the book as a diary not a blog?
12.Well thought through use of actors. Will you not need a dog?
13. You could improve this by adding images of the equipment you will use
and say why you will need a tripod etc This has been updated.
14.Production schedule is clear. You need to add class time for editing your
film and possibly time to re-shoot any scenes if needs.
To make it easier for the examiner to find your work in your prezi’s perhaps
change the titles of your posts to:
Prezi 1 = Film opening analysis and the horror genre
Prezi 2 = Initial ideas and target audience

2. Prezi 3 = Characters, actors, costume, props and location recce
Prezi 4 = Storyboards, script, floor plans, shot list and production schedule
Good addition of the risk assessment. You may need an additional crew
member to hold the ladder steady for you whilst you get your birds eye view
shot. As well as making sure that paths are clear as tripping may happen during
the chase scenes.
Overall a very competently put together pre-production package. Excellent
research and detail. This is level 4, 16 but could be a few higher with some
slight tweeks.
Not sure on ‘Snaps’ as a convincing horror title. You could consider ‘Home
Sweet Hell’ as it’s written on your key location?
Prezi’s now tweaked, updated equipment choices added with permission slips
also added. Overall and excellent pre-production package, well done.
