2. • The ‘Tour Dates’ page follows a
strict color scheme (as does the rest
of the website), and its hyperlinks
are very much made accessible in
order to allow ease of use for
people who are considering buying
tickets to a gig. There are no images
and there is no audio-visual text,
but this contributes to the simplicity
of the page, its slick format and
appearance, and allows room for
the way in which the tour dates are
so clearly laid out.
3. • Similar to the Pixie’s tour
dates page, the text on The
Smiths’ streaming page for the
‘Deluxe’ edition is clearly laid
out with each streaming
platform listed with its
appropriate logo. The album
cover for ‘The Queen is Dead’
(the album that the page is
centred around) is shown at the
top with an unfocused version
of it used as the background.
4. • The ‘Sale’ page’s format is a lot
less simple, what with the brightly
coloured paint-splodged
background and the text being
much more spread out across the
screen. There are no additional
images and there is no audio-visual
content, and the colour scheme is
much broader than that of the two
websites previously mentioned –
overall, the format and style of the
page is overwhelming due to the
background image and the spaces
between the text.
