3. STEP OUTLINE
A wide shot, low angle of the runner in the starting position at the starting
line, along with a gun shot from the background to start the runner off
A pan/track of the runner running which will last 15 seconds before it then
cuts to a close-up still image with shallow focus of the shoes with added
effects of a ‘pause button’ with an added voiceover of the description of the
shoes lasting for …
After the close-up shot and description of the product it will cut back to a
wide shot, low angle of the runner then running off again around the rest of
the track for about …
It will then fade out to a blank background with the Nike logo and another
voiceover of the Nike slogan lasting for about 10 seconds

5. SHOT LIST
First scene will be a wide shot with a low angle of the runner at the starting
line along with a gun shot
Then pan/track the runner running around the track
Middle scene will be a cut to a still image, close-up shot with shallow focus
of the product along with a voiceover
End scene will cut back to a wide shot, low angle again of the runner going
around the track
It will then fade-out to a blank background with extra description of the
shoes and another voiceover
7. PRODUCTION PLAN
Wednesday 25th May – Take test shots on the field. This will take one hour.
This will take place at Neale wade, I will be the cameraman, and Tom will be assisting me whilst Charlie is the
actress. A camera will also be needed.
No props or costume design will be needed for this stage of production.
Friday 27th May – For the first hour we will be tasking more test shots. The second hour will be spent recording
the dialogue for the advert. A camera will be needed for both hours.
The first hour I will be the cameraman with tom assisting, Charlie will also still be the actress. For the second
hour we will needed to use an iPhone 6s as a microphone. This will be filmed in the Academy soundproof room.
Tom will be the speaker and me and Charlie will do the camerawork.
During half term – Filming will be completed, this will be with costume.
I will be doing camerawork assisted by Tom. Charlie will be the actress, wearing sports clothing that go together
with her trainers. A camera will be needed to do this task. We will also need to use the running track at the
school; the location will be Neale wade.
Monday 6th June – Editing the footage will be done; we have an hour lesson on this day.
This can be completed in a classroom; all three of us will work together on this task. To do this I will need to
use a MacBook with IMovie installed.
Wednesday 8th June – All dialogue and final editing will be added to the sequence of footage.
