Career Objectives
Considerable experience and a proven track record of contribution within the commodities
and FMCG world, meeting sales and profit targets, optimizing business, distribution network,
commercial operations and team potentials through strong planning, operational activities,
project management and leadership abilities. I am now looking to contribute significantly
(with career progression opportunities) together with a challenging employer within areas of
my expertise
Summary
I have been working for Webcor Group (www.webcorgroup.com), a leading company in soft
commodities and FMCG, since 2001. I started my job in the Belgian
Head Quarters as President/CEO’s Office Manager for a period of 3 years. The main tasks
were to closely follow and monitor the supply chain management of all group companies.
During that period, I have participated in different missions (visits, audits, etc.) which took
me to South Africa, Angola, both Congo, etc.
As an avid challenge enthusiast, I was offered an opportunity to run the group Mozambican
operations in 2004, which I gladly accepted without hesitation. I was managing 2 companies
simultaneously, which were later merged into one. The main task in Mozambique was to
restructure the group operations and shift from a negative to positive P&L.
In July 2006, I created a new company and merged both existing ones. Among my
achievements were; running a profitable P&L, driving a double digit growth between 2006 &
2007, and a triple digit growth from 2007 to 2008.
The hit of the financial crisis on the world economy obliged us to change our mind-set,
implement new strategies, reduce operational & overheads expenses by more than 40% and to
review the entire business Modus Operandi.
