3. Setup: Find or create a Jeopardy game.
Load your Jeopardy game as a PowerPoint
into Adobe to play. If the game has hyperlinks,
they should work in Adobe, too.
Troubleshooting: Sometimes it doesn’t load
properly, so another way to play is to load your
PowerPoint into OneDrive and then open the
PowerPoint in your browser window. Then
share your screen.
Gameplay: Students take turns choosing
categories and answering questions.
Objective: For students: to be the contestant
with the most points. For the teacher: to review
material, find out what students know and don’t
know, and to build community.
Cross-curricular applications: Any course! The
game works best if there are multiple
standards students need to review.
4. Setup: Boardgame
image, pawns, spinner or
dice
Gameplay: Students spin
or roll to determine their
turn
Objective: Review
content; format of
questions pre-determined
by instructor; can be
recycled
Cross-curricular
applications: Any content
type or format; use of data
to determine questions
6. Kahoot it in Adobe
After much trial and error, I finally got Kahoot to work for me in an adobe session. First,
at the start of my last Adobe session, I asked students to open a separate tab and log
into Kahoot it on their PCs (not their phones); near the end of the session, I gave
students the PIN number for a Kahoot game I had previously opened in a separate tab.
When I could see students were logged into the game, I then shared my screen and the
game went off perfectly. The screen shot above is from the session’s recording.
Explain game and show mp4 of students playing this game (less than 60 seconds.)
Explain: setup, how to choose questions (data), resources in OneNote notebook
