9/15-present: Senior Assistant to Dean’s office Frank G. Zarb School of Business. Report to Senior
Associate Dean of the business school at Hofstra University. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to,
phones, filing, executing correspondence, scheduling appointments, distribution of budget information,
preparing materials for committee elections, assisting with faculty load reports and the preparation of class
schedules and curriculum proposals. Attend and prepare minutes of the executive committee and faculty
meetings and disseminating minutes of such meetings. Assist in various aspects of coordinating Zarb events.
Work with Degree Audit Reports, Banner System and Hofstra Web Systems. Special projects.
10/08-9/15: Senior Assistant to Undergraduate Admissions . Reported to AVP of Enrollment
Management, Admission and team of 20 Associate and Assistant Deans. Responsibilities include, but are not
limited to, greet and assist heavy volume of visitors – both prospective and current students, phones, maintain
calendars, schedules and files, typing, photocopying, scanning, schedule appointments; mailing preparation;
extensive expense reporting. Implemented office wide organization spreadsheet used to track departmental
expenses. Created large organizational chart(s) for Enrollment Management, as well as, its individual divisions.
Admission data entry, manage student workers and record their hours in Enterprise eTIME, create forms for
department use. Gather, contact and compose correspondence for a variety of Admission topics, including, but
not limited to, department job openings. Develop tracking spreadsheets for VP and office manager and work
on various special projects. Assist VP for Enrollment Management in select projects, consisting of confidential
matters, research, as well as provide support in all other administrative assistant duties. Manage entering
planning info/Compliance Assist for Enrollment Management and Admissions. Contact with all offices of the

10/06-10/08: Admissions Clerk (Part-time). Reported to Director of Operations in Admission.
Responsibilities included importing student data from third-party media such as internet, cd’s, discs, and emails
into the University’s computer system, SCT Banner. Track data and maintain files for each. Create and
maintain spreadsheet of website prospects for reporting purposes. Authored tape load instruction manual for
department. Assist with various departmental tasks on as-needed basis. Worked Admission events and
Graduation Commencement.
February 2005 – May 2006: Tankoos Reporting, 145 Willis Ave, Mineola, NY
Legal Transcriber (from home). Transcribed audio taped hearings (Board of Education and State Insurance
Fund) using machine transcription skills into court documents. Topics included students with disabilities
