I consult with companies on the following aspects of Human Resources: Recruitment,
Absenteeism, Discipline, Industrial relations and Payroll.
PAYROLL / ADMIN
 Managing ±180 temporary employees for the client (Lear Corporation).
 Weekly client visits.
 Collect hours and overtime authorisations.
 Validate all leave applications and overtime worked against authorisation received.
 Administrating and authorizing annual, sick and family responsibility leave.
 Calculating and capturing associates normal hours, overtime and leave on HR System -
Quest 4.
 After capturing the weekly hours, check and send balancing report to Financial Manager.
 Managing weekly queries from management, supervisors and associates.
 Compiling UI19 and Provident fund statements.
 Compiling weekly absenteeism, overtime and disciplinary reports for the client.
 Reporting on monthly absenteeism and misconducts. Drawing up statistics of how many
days were lost that month.
 Drafting and sorting invoices for clients.
 Record keeping of all employees’ previous misconducts.
 Ensure all contracts and employment documentation is completed and up to date.
 Open files for new employees and updating existing employees.
 Internally solving payroll queries and dealing with client difficulties.

HR / IR
 Consult to clients and employees regarding the procedures of leave, overtime, labour
legislation, disciplinary code, absenteeism, disciplinary warnings and enquiries,
calculation of hours.
 Investigate transgressions and issuing of disciplinary warnings.
 Conducting weekly return to work interviews to manage absenteeism and help
employees manage their leave.
 Preparing and conducting disciplinary hearings, as both initiator and chairperson.
 Counseling employees on their absence and leave abuse.
 Counseling and advising employees and management on company policies and
procedures (disciplinary code).
 Execute the disciplinary steps necessary when employees have absconded or
abandoned their job.
 Meetings with shop stewards of the trade union (NUMSA).
 Annual update of Employment Equity (EE) report.
 Acquisition and distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
RECRUITMENT / MARKETING
 Large scale recruiting: sourcing, selection and placing of light industrial staff.
 Telephone interviews with prospective candidates.
 Interview candidates and administer computerized Microsoft tests.
 Finding prospective clients through cold calling and face to face meetings.
 Update marketing database with 15 new prospective clients weekly.
