Focus group participants provided feedback on a digipak album design. Several participants liked the use of only two colors that grabbed attention and the negative space. One commented they liked how the male actor's photos subverted the male gaze. Suggested improvements included adding another review of the music video and making the negative images clearer. Participants felt the similar design of the digipak and advert showed continuity. They thought the simple design without much writing gave it an indie or edgy vibe that matched the music video genre. The contrasting colors and unusual color inversion would make them want to buy the album to see the genre.
