Balalet: Noodles cooked with sugar, cinnamon, saffron, and cardamom. Often an omelet on top.
Ghuzi: Whole roast lamb served over nutty rice. Also called Shuwaa.
Drinks:
Arabic Coffee: Dark roast beans spiced with cardamom. Often sweetened or served with dates.
Qahwa: Qatari coffee or “sweet cofee”, bright orange mixture with cardamom, saffron, and sugar.

Knuckleheads: Next to the train tracks
and known as the place “where the
world’s greatest musicians play.” Features
three stages, including an outdoor stage
with converted caboose for VIP seating.

Sea Music: Work songs pertaining to pearl hunting will play at
local venues to highlight the local venues and culture of Qatar.
Dance: Ardah will be performed with two rows of men opposite
of one another. Each of whom may be wielding a sword and is
accompanied by drums and spoken poetry.
Female-only Folk Music:
Women would primarily sing about the hardships of pearl-
diving or returning pearl ships being sighted.
Dance: public performances by women practiced only on two
occasions, al-moradah, and al-ashori (exclusive to weddings)
