In this presentation video, there is an explanation of the dialogue across diversity and inclusion 4 x 4 model. We talk about how we came up with the idea and the process that we went through to initiate this model within the Bonner group.
4. History
This model is the combination of two previous initiatives,
Dialogue Across Difference and Diversity & Inclusion. After
reviewing those two initiatives and reviewing data on our
High-Impact practices, we designed this Dialogue Across
Diversity & Inclusion.
6. Tackling the 4 E’s Training Guides Breakdown
● Explore - stage one participants will be exposed to the different
levels of diversity
● Experience - stage two participants will be the focus on the
understand of the different levels of diversity
● Example - stage three participants will be the focus of being able
to adequately apply and discuss diversity within the trainings
● Excellence - stage four participants will be able to take what they
have learned in the previous years and adapt it to their capstone
as well as their life after undergrad

12. Why do we need this?
During the time we have spent at the Foundation, we were able to read through
this year’s student annual reports. The conclusion that we came up with based on
the needs of the Bonner colleges was that we needed an increase in diversity
trainings as well as including dialogue and inclusion.
