Every new academic year holds new challenges, new ventures to explore, and new opportunities
to learn. With this in mind, Bansal Group of Institutes had organized “AARAMBH 2021-2022”, a
two-day virtual orientation program on 1st and 2nd September. The orientation had around 500
attendees and was organized with the objective to welcome the young minds as well as to make
them aware of the future prospects in Engineering.
The two-day virtual induction commenced seeking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati followed
by a welcome address by honourable Group Director Dr. H.B. Khurasia. The students were also
addressed by Jt. Secretary Dr. Sanjay Jain and were given a picture of how Bansal Group has
been operating in several areas. The students also administered a virtual tour of all the ventures
that Bansal Group of Institutes had been exploring over a period of time. The primary attraction
of the program was the motivational words delivered by Mr. Mahendra Joshi that will go on to
inspire the students throughout their lives.
The second day of the virtual orientation was inaugurated with a welcome address by Director
BIRT, Dr. Manoj Shukla followed by a Virtual tour of the Bansal Group of Institutes. On the second
day, the students were taken through with the rules and regulations, and academic activities of
the Institution. They were also introduced to the LMS CANVAS portal and its working by Prof.
Devashish Sarkar. Proceeding further, Prof Shivanjali Rawat enlightened the students with the
indispensable role that Engineers and Engineering as a field play in each of our lives, she also
brought forward the career prospects and job opportunities that lie ahead in front of the
students’ lives.
Towards the end, the show was taken by Dr. Bhavna Jain and Mr. Abhay Joshi, Dean - Corporate
Relations to throw some light into the immensely important activities such as training and
placement that the students go through during the course and the ways in which students could
make use of these opportunities for a successful career ahead. With the delightful presence of the
esteemed guests & students, the two-day virtual orientation program has fulfilled its objectives

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering had organized
an Alumni Connect Webinar on ‘Robotics’ on 19th April 2021 with Mr.
Abhishek Goswami from Govt. Atal Tinkering Lab, Bina as the guest
speaker. Mr. Goswami has a wide array of experience and technical
expertise which he had shared with the participants in the webinar.
A Webinar on ‘Industrial Automation’ was organized by the Department of
Electrical and Electronics Engineering on 12th May 2021. Mr. Aadarsh
Barche, Automation Trainer from MSME Technology Centre was invited as
the speaker for the webinar. Mr. Barche enlightened the students on the
latest trends and applications of automation in the contemporary world.

2. Department of Computer Science Engineering
A webinar was organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering on 6th July 2021. The topic of the webinar
was ‘Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances’ with Prof. Shrinivas Sant as the speaker. Prof. Sant is a Senior CAD expert
in Nvision Institute, Pune and he had shared his knowledge and insight of Tolerances and Dimensioning with the
participants. The webinar was attended by 88 participants.
A webinar on ‘Online and Retail Shopping’ was organized by the Department of Computer Science Engineering on 21st
March 2021. The objective of the webinar was to make students aware of the process of retail and online shopping and
how there has been a digital transformation. The webinar was delivered by the guest speaker of the day, Mr. Rahul
Khare who is also a Senior OMS Developer.

A webinar on ‘Renewable Energy and Electric Vehicles’ was organized on 2nd June 2021 by the Department of
Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The speaker for the talk was Mr. R.S. Sharma, Senior Manager (Electrical and
Electronics) from CRISP.
Mr. Sharma has over 13 years of industry experience and he made the session insightful by sharing his knowledge and
perspective on the latest electronics trends and electrical values on the topic with the participants.

A webinar on ‘Wonders of Vastu Shastra’ was organized on 10th July 2021 by the Department of Electrical and
Electronics Engineering with Prof. Ajit Kumar Jain as the speaker of the event to throw some light on various aspects
of the Vastu Shastra. Prof. Jain is an Assistant Professor, Chartered Engineer, and Vastu Consultant at MEDI-CAPS
University, Indore.
A webinar was organized on ‘Campus Placement Preparation’ on 7th August 2021 by the Department of Electrical and
Electronics Engineering. The chief speaker for the event was Mr. Chetan Chadokar, EXE, BIST (Batch 2020). Mr. Chetan
is currently working with Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst (Mobile Application Development). Through the webinar,
he was able to guide the students regarding placements and helped them prepare in effective ways to avail the best
use of placements.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering had organized a webinar on the topic ‘Scope of Material Science in
Mechanical Engineering Applications’ on 8th June 2021. The speaker for this event was Dr. H.K Khaira, Ex Prof, DoME,
MANIT Bhopal and a total of 95 students participated in the webinar. The webinar aimed at making students acquire
knowledge of the composition, structure, and processing of materials and to help them investigate the relationship
between the structure of materials and their properties.

A webinar was organized on 19th June 2021 titled ‘Cloud Computing and Software Engineering: Future Research
Perspective’ by the Department of MCA. The keynote speaker for the event was Dr. Saurabh Jain, Assistant Professor,
KIIT (Deemed to be University), Bhubaneshwar. Dr. Jain highlighted the importance of research and the career
opportunities that exist for the researchers.
A webinar on ‘IOT – An Approach towards Health Safety & Wellbeing of people’ was organized on 15th June 2021 by
the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The chief speaker of the event was Mr. Fareed Khan,
Circle HSSE, Head of MPCG, Brookfield tower Co.
Department of MBA (Master of Business Administration)
A webinar on the topic ‘Business and marketing strategies of banking sectors in India’ was organized by the Department of MBA with
a keynote speaker as Mr. Siddharth Bharadwaj, Relationship Manager, Corporate and Financial Indusind Bank Ltd. Bhopal Division.
The webinar was immensely helpful in providing knowledge about the business and marketing strategies in the banking sectors to
the participants.
A webinar titled ‘Hacking Crux’ was organized on 20th June 2021 by the Department of Computer Science
Engineering. The event had Mr. Shouvik Dutta as the guest speaker to deliver his insightful opinions on ethical
hacking. Mr. Shouvik is one of the top-known professional hackers listed by the Indian government. He is also a Cyber
Security Analyst and Researcher from Cyberops Infosec (Certified Ethical Hacker from EC council), and a rewarded

had organized a Webinar titled ‘Looking

Start-ups’ on 29th May 2021. The depart-
ment invited Mr. Arpan Shukla, Product

of the changing trends in the current
technological environment.
Bansal Group of Institutes had organized a Webinar titled ‘Government’s Financial Assistance through Scholarships for
Graduation and Post-Graduation Courses’ with Shri Anil Soni as the resource person. The session was held on 1st July
2021 and it illuminated participant’s queries regarding scholarships and guided them to have a successful career ahead.

A contest was conducted on the occasion of Mother’s Day to allow students to appreciate their love for
mothers. The students were invited to dedicate love for their mother by sharing an inspiring memory. The
winners were Raksha Chourasiya of Govt. Nehru Higher Secondary School, Chhatarpur (1st), Vikran Dubey of
Model HS Civil lines, Rewa (2nd), and Suraj Verma of Govt. Higher Secondary, Bhopal.
BGI, Bhopal had organized “Rising Stars”, a five-day Talent Hunt contest from 8th June – 13th June
2021. The contest provided the students with a platform to exhibit their talents. The five-day-long
event hosted various competitions for students to partake in. The competitions included Music
competition, Dance competition, Theatre competition, Mimicry show, and a Grand Finale where all
the participants gave their live performances on Facebook.
A poster-making competition was held by Bansal Group of Institutes. The competition was based on
the theme “Say No To Drugs” and it aimed to spread awareness of the ill effects of consuming drugs
among the youth. The competition was held between 26th June – 29th June on the International Day
Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. The winners of the competition were Swati Kushwah, Krati
Chaurasia, and Kajal Singh.
A Photography contest was held between 19th August – 24th August. The theme of the photography
contest was “Photograph which should depict countless emotions of the sibling bond”. The contest
was held on the occasion of Rakshabandhan and the winner of the contest was Atul Kumar Patel who
was awarded with an Amazon gift voucher.
BGI extends a heartfelt congratulations to Pankaj Lal Sahu, ME (Batch 2017-2021) for his commendable performance
in GATE 2021. Pankaj has qualified GATE with an All India Rank of 7049. We congratulate you for securing admission in
IIT Bhubaneswar and wish you a career with great success.

Bansal Group of Institutes (BGI, Bhopal) and 1MP Naval Unit, NCC Bhopal organized a Webinar on the topic ‘NCC as
General Election Course’ on 30th May 2021. The event was a success due to the esteemed presence of Commander Dr.
Om Prakash Sharma (Commanding Officer 1MP Naval Unit NCC Bhopal) and Brigadier Sanjoy Ghosh (Group Commander)
who shared their experience, guided and motivated the students, and highlighted some key points about NCC.
ppkZ&,&[kkl] an Inter-College Virtual Presentation Competition was organized by Bansal
Group of Institutes. The topic for this competition was ‘The New Normal: Technology, Trends,
People, and Innovation’. The competition was held on 24th April 2021. A total of 221 students
participated in the first round of the competition from which only 16 were chosen for the second
round and it came down to the three winners. The winners of the competition were Sanju Kumari
(Miranda House, Delhi) who bagged the first position, and Himanshi Chouskey from Oriental
College of Management and Aditya Sharma from Bansal Institute of Science and Technology who
secured second and third position respectively. The competition was hosted on Facebook and
