Student Development Program on Digital System Design
Using VHDL: Department Of ECE and EEE.
A five-day-long student development program on Digital System Design was organized from 2nd March to 6th March, for the department of ECE
(Electronic Communica on Engineering) and EEE (Electrical and Electronics Engineering). The program was held using VHDL, under the aggies of TEQIP-
III, U arakhand Technical University, under the supervision of Mr. Arjun Singh. The program aimed to make students aware of the latest trends and
technology used in digital design language and imparts theore cal and prac cal knowledge about hardware design using VHDL languages. VHDL is a
languagethatdescribesthebehaviorofelectroniccircuits, mostcommonlydigitalcircuits.
Students got a prac cal exposure by ac vi es performed during the workshop, they also learnt to work as a team in this program. Mr. Arjun Singh stated
that,“studentswouldbesurelyprovidedwithmore suchopportuni esinfutureastheseprogramshelpinmo va ngthemtoworkharder.”

for 7 days. Students of Food Produc on Diploma and Bachelor

put stalls to sold them. One of the student said,” This was a
memorable experience, it would help them in their future”.
The head of Hotel Management Department Mrs. Deepa
Chawla said,”The event aimed to provide students with plenty
of exposure to learn new things.” In this fest many renowned
personali es came including singer mohit chauhan, Hansraj
Raghuwanshi,poli cianSatpalMaharaj,andmanyYoggurus.

Shishya Upanyan Sanskar: Medical College of Ayurveda and Hospital
An event “Shishya Upanyan Sanskar 2021 was organized through transi onal curriculum”
was organized from 6th April to 22nd April by Dev Bhoomi medical collage of Ayurveda and
hospital. The event was specially conducted for new students of batch 2020. The main aim
oftheprogramwastomo vatestudentsandtheirtransi ontowardsthisholis clifestyle.
The eminent Ayurvedic speakers were Vidya Yatendra Singh Malik, Ex Join Director AYUSH
U arakhand, Vaidya Vanish Gupta (M.D. Ayurveda) professor & Dept of Swasthviri a
HAMC,VaidyaAnumeheJoshi(M.D.Ayurveda).

Workshop on Textile Embellishments by Fashion Design Department
Dehradun, March 2: The workshop started with the welcoming ceremony of the guest, cra
instructor of Vidya Kala Mandir Mr. Jagdish Roy Bha . He demonstrated 100 techniques of
tex le embellishments. The demonstra on mainly focused on hand embroidery techniques
and tex le designing. He also addressed the gathering and shared his experiences with the
students. The head of Fashion Design Department Ms. Deepa Arya said,” Tex le
embellishmentistheskillthathasbeenprac cedinIndiafromcenturies. Shealsoaddedthe
aimoftheworkshopwastoprovidestudentswithacompleteoverviewofthetex leindustry

goals. The students learned about how to promote a hospital in market and also the role of
ayurvedic hospitals in the market the lecturer had showed them an adver sement of the
promo ons of hospital by which students had gained knowledge about the adver sement also

#WEBINAR
Department of Civil Engineering organized an online webinar on
"Urban Floods in India & Challenges" for the students of B.Tech Civil
Engineering. The speaker of the session was Mr. Ashish Mishra,
Research Scholar, IIT Roorkee (Department of Hydrology).This session
provided exposure to the students about a short commentary on the
recurring urban ooding in India and the challenges the country
faces in implementing sustainable drainage practices and
developing urban ood resilience.
An online guest lecture on " Building Information Modeling
Approaches in Construction Project" successfully held by the
Department of Civil Engineering.
The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication has
successfully organized the interaction session with the Chief Bureau
Sahara TV Network, Ms. Jyotsana. Ms. Jyotsana addressed various
queries of students regarding career in journalism as well by sharing
her 20 years of experience in the media industry.
Department of Mechanical Engineering and Ministry of Mini,
Small and Medium Enterprises Technology center organized an
online Workshop on "Awareness Program on Recent Technologies
in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics.
Department of Civil Engineering organized an online webinar on
"Road Trafc Safety: Major challenges and Effective practices" for
the students of B.Tech Civil Engineering and Polytechnic Civil Engg.
The speaker of the session was Mr. Abhinav Kumar, Assistant
Professor, NIT Uttarakhand (Transportation Engineering).

  • 4. DEV BHOOMI TIMES DEV BHOOMI TIMES | EDITION, JUNE 2021 Student Development Program on Digital System Design Using VHDL: Department Of ECE and EEE. A five-day-long student development program on Digital System Design was organized from 2nd March to 6th March, for the department of ECE (Electronic Communica on Engineering) and EEE (Electrical and Electronics Engineering). The program was held using VHDL, under the aggies of TEQIP- III, U arakhand Technical University, under the supervision of Mr. Arjun Singh. The program aimed to make students aware of the latest trends and technology used in digital design language and imparts theore cal and prac cal knowledge about hardware design using VHDL languages. VHDL is a languagethatdescribesthebehaviorofelectroniccircuits, mostcommonlydigitalcircuits. Students got a prac cal exposure by ac vi es performed during the workshop, they also learnt to work as a team in this program. The department represented the ins tute by preparing food for 7 days. Students of Food Produc on Diploma and Bachelor ofHotelManagementpreparedsatvikfoodandbeveragesand put stalls to sold them. One of the student said,” This was a memorable experience, it would help them in their future”.   • 7. #WEBINAR Department of Civil Engineering organized an online webinar on "Urban Floods in India & Challenges" for the students of B.Tech Civil Engineering. The speaker of the session was Mr. Ashish Mishra, Research Scholar, IIT Roorkee (Department of Hydrology).This session provided exposure to the students about a short commentary on the recurring urban ooding in India and the challenges the country faces in implementing sustainable drainage practices and developing urban ood resilience. An online guest lecture on " Building Information Modeling Approaches in Construction Project" successfully held by the Department of Civil Engineering. The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication has successfully organized the interaction session with the Chief Bureau Sahara TV Network, Ms. Jyotsana. Ms. Jyotsana addressed various queries of students regarding career in journalism as well by sharing her 20 years of experience in the media industry. Department of Mechanical Engineering and Ministry of Mini, Small and Medium Enterprises Technology center organized an online Workshop on "Awareness Program on Recent Technologies in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics. Department of Civil Engineering organized an online webinar on "Road Trafc Safety: Major challenges and Effective practices" for the students of B.Tech Civil Engineering and Polytechnic Civil Engg.
