Summary
As a Certified Medical Assistant I have worked to assist patients in making appointments, understanding
insurance and feeling comfortable in the environment of the medical office. As an EMT I find it easier to
make sure the patients are seen in the fastest time possible. I am also trained to assist the physician in
many procedures such as lab draw, injections, vitals, EKG, pelvic exams etc. I have experience in billing
and coding, as part of my training. I currently am working toward a BS in nursing and hope to complete that
education and be able to continue to be able to help those in need.

I am employed as a receptionist. I check patients in and out. I enter the ICD10 codes and submit billing to
the clearing house. I maintain our web portal invitations and messages. I answer the phones and triage the
calls to make sure the patients get into the office as soon as they need to. I am familiar with Power chart. I
operate multiple office machines, fax, copier printer. I greet visitors. Other duties include entering lab and
vaccine data. I have also substituted for the nurse which includes taking vitals, giving injections, draws for
labs and assisting the Dr with procedures including OB and pelvic exams.

Hobbies & Interests
I am a volunteer EMT with Orleans Rural district 2 Fire Department and I also enjoy singing and am an
active participant at my church as well as a member of O.C.P. performing on stage in musical theater and
Madrigals.
