Pulmonology department. I am looking for position that will allow their employees to grow and better

High School Diploma – West River Academy Aug 2005 – May 2009

Baylor Scott & Whiter Clinic July 2010 - currently
Certified Medical Assistant November 2012 - currently
 Provided general medical care to patients under physician direction
 Interpret and evaluate vital signs [blood pressure, pulse, respirations, temp, height, weight]
 Obtained complete medical, surgical, social and family history on patients
 Maintained accurate and complete patient records; updated charts [Epic] and reported to physician
 Instructed patients on medications and treatment instructions including inhaler education, inhaler
samples, sputum collection, injections, nebulizer treatments and education, and portable spirometry
Patient service specialist July 2010 – Nov 2012
 As a patient service specialist, I worked mostly in the call center answering phone calls and scheduling
appointments, verifying insurance and sending messages to nurses/providers if needed.
 Before getting into the call center, I worked both check in and check out positions at different clinics
at Scott & White. I also worked in the referral department, scheduling referrals and obtaining medical
records. On top of that, I also worked in the medical records department scanning records into charts
and labeling them correctly.
