Ensuring that sales orders are processed with 100% accuracy
Upselling additional products ensuring profit margins are maintained
Generating sales to achieve monthly and yearly targets, working to the

Providing advice on the most suitable products available, checking delivery
times and stock availability.
Cold calling to secure new business, generating sales leads.
Liaising with mills and hauliers to ensure orders are processed and
delivered efficiently.
Responsible for the administration of customer accounts, using Word and
Excel, order booking using the IBS computer system, telephone enquiries.
Problem solving and issuing credit notes plus the following up of enquires
and correspondence via email and fax
Solving Logistics issues, liaising closely with warehouse staff
Dealing with complaints and giving technical advice.
Customer visits to enhance customer relationships and promote new
products and services.
Entering opportunities and vital sales correspondence on the CRM
database and training colleagues on how to use the CRM system.
Participating in stock checks for both the internal warehouse and
customers stocks.

Responsibilities including managing a team of 6 inside sales people
handling sickness and holiday, giving guidance on pricing and discounts
structures. Organising sales meetings. Organising local warehouse stock
