Project V (presently engaged)
Consulting a Midsized Distribution company in Mumbai in the kitchen Hardware and Shutter
industry. The company is a distribution franchisee for a leading Brand in this category and
wishes to ramp up their business. Our brief is to change the internal environment in which they
operate and reformat along six important functions – People, Processes, Culture, Technology,
Financials and Customers
 Completely re-engineering their processes and setup
 Coach and mentor their sales team
 Build HR systems and processes to encourage a performance driven culture
 Revamp their distribution network to make it more efficient
 Realign their logistic and supply chain management
 Relook at their financial , costing and recommend relevant improvements
 Leverage technology to make them business efficient
Project IV (Completed in June’15)
Consulted an Air Charter Corporate broking company in Mumbai to strategize their go to market
plans for their online marketplace.
 Working on their Marcom strategy including Digital
 Negotiating Supplier's contracts and agreements
 Building sales projections
 Building Alliances & Partnerships
Project III (completed in Apr’15)
Consulting a newly started Travel Agency in Chennai in setting up an online B2C platform. The
agency is in retail business and is keen to take their existing customers and acquire new
customers online .Helping them achieve their vision to be amongst the top players in this
segment.
 Helping the Company set up its B2C travel sales platform / Booking engine
 Identifying the proper vendor based on eligibility criteria ,negotiate commercials and
assist in the implementation
 Build effective processes and MIS reporting for the management
 Assist the Company towards the achievement of the organization’s mission and objective
 Define market value proposition and identify the primary markets
Project II (presently engaged)
Currently consulting for a top 10 IATA Travel Agency based in Mumbai with multiple branches
in India to build a Travel eCommerce portal. I have been part of the project from the conceptual
stage which has significant investments from the client and is accountable to deliver it
successfully. Have taken up the role of Entrepreneur-in-residence for the client with stated
deliverables
 Helping the Company set up its B2B / B2C travel sales platform / Booking engine
 Identifying the proper vendor based on eligibility criteria ,negotiate commercials and
assist in the Implementation
 Help build the P &L for the business and consult the company in achieving it on a
monthly basis
 Recruit , build and drive the sales team to deliver their objectives
 Build effective processes and MIS reporting for the management
 Define market value proposition and identify the primary markets
 Define a clear channel strategy with profitability for each
 Build new and refine existing business process reducing time to market and uncover
potential opportunities
 Build robust review mechanisms for leading to rationalization of target markets and
driving business efficiencies
Project I (Completed in Sep’13)
Consulting a new start up, offering solutions to the hotel industry. It is an Indian franchisee of a
Global leader in Travel technology solutions providing SaaS based model in Luxury, upscale and
midscale Hotels in India and APAC.
 To assess strategic marketing efforts and drive revenue growth from new and existing
customers
 Help develop the Go-to-Market strategy for the client
 Define market value proposition and identify the primary markets
 Define a clear channel strategy with profitability for each
 Provide direction to the sales force to help them manage existing customers and acquire
new customers
 Manage and review AR and collections from clients
