2. INTRODUCTION
Prior to commencing with opening film sequence production/filming I have decided to carry
out test shoot for one of the key scenes in the film. The flower plucking scene is curtail and it
will set the overall mood of the film.
After presenting my idea to my tutor and few selected school friends I have decided that this
scene must be filmed in one go. This scene will be later cut into pieces so that each sequence
contains main phrase (live/die). Those scenes will be edited between chase/following scenes in
order to build up the tension and to revel main protagonist state of mind.
In this first test shoot I have filmed the scene as planed during pre-production and storyboard
making. The scene does not reveal characters identity and it creates the atmosphere as was
aiming for, but I believe that camera could be placed in front of the character in the same high
position or to make it similar to the chasseing scene the flower plucking can be filmed as POV
shot.

how I could possibly improve the
key scene in my opening sequence.

During first day of filming I will film
first of all POV flower plucking
scene. In addition the other
pointed filming options will be
done as well so that I could
improvise the scenes during
editing.
