2. PRE-PRODUCTION
After you have a good script written, pre-production
can be the most important part of a successful film.
Most film producers consider it as a vital step in film
making. A film that is properly prepared will have time
and money to spare.
The producer is generally responsible for assembling
production team, cast and managing equipment and
organizing filming schedule. Director must be first one
that producer hires. The director is the individual who
will have overall creative control, so much of pre-
production period revolves around him. However, it is
not business of producer and director only, the quality
of cast and crew is also important.

5. THE ROLE OF DIRECTOR IN THE FILM
Director design the style and shape of the film. Director is
the creative force pulls a film group together. (Actors, editors,
writers and cinematographers etc.)
A good script is the foundation of the film, but even the
best one may need to be develop and managed to work well
on big screen which is the job of director. Directors have to
discuss with producers or writers. After directors done with
reading script, they will ask themselves key question about
social representation, main expression idea etc.
Whatever the route from script to screen is, the director
plays an important role in shaping the war how story is told.
