Our team received a creative brief with the following objective: motivate adults to visit their aging parents. They need to be aware that when people get older, they put more value on ordinary experiences, such as being surrounded by their loved ones.
We decided to pick Skype as our organization that as launching an initiative to connect adults and their parents through their application. Our advertising idea was: Elderly parents are your tickets to the past.

29. VISUAL:
EXT- A lonely highway, tumbleweeds roll across the upstate New York tarmac. A road sign
reads “10 miles to Woodstock.”
Suddenly, a VW bus rips past like a bat out of hell, headed down the lonely road.
AUDIO:
(With volume) Crosby, Still, Nash “Woodstock” begins to play.
VISUAL:
The shot follows the speeding van from behind, then from the side. Through the passenger
side we see a rather odd driver. Not the hippy that is usually at the helm, but instead a
middle-aged man, hair slicked back and wearing a nice polo.
INT- facing into the car from the front windshield.
We see a standard “We are the Millers” type family. Clean cut, all American, and a tad dorky.
Mom is in a sensible cardigan, the little boy and little girl in a t-shirt and a dress, and even a
golden retriever with a bandana around its neck.
The family dances exactly how you might expect a bunch of white people in a car to dance.
EXT- The VW Bus screeches into the exit that is marked as “Woodstock”
Instead of pulling up to a music festival, however, they pull up to a small cottage.
As they get out of the car and unpack, you see two elderly hippies on the front step
welcoming them into their home with hugs.

31. Tickets to the past don’t exist, but
time travellers do. You need one of
those. Someone who was there.
Someone who saw it all. We can’t
bring you back in time, but there’s a
pretty good chance you know
someone who can.
