12. Using Technology as a Medium
The excitement in students should be rather about the
related activities and tasks which will be performed or
done using technology as a medium not the technology
alone.
13. Using Technology Effectively
āEffective use of technology in educationā is perhaps a
new discipline that needs to be taught.
- Edtech Review February 2016
ā¢ Learning Outcomes and Pedagogical Approach

rather than on how to use a specific device
ā¢ Technology opens the window to greater connections with people,
expanding content farther than ever before, and the ability to create new
ideas.
ā¢ The excitement in students should be rather about the related activities
and tasks which will be performed or done using technology as a medium
not the technology alone.
15. Self Assessment
How are teachers using technology "with" their students?
ā¢ Are they using technology daily?
ā¢ Are they using a variety of tools to complete assignments?
ā¢ Are they creating projects that show a deeper understanding of
the content?
ā¢ Are they leveraging digital programs to introduce and/or reteach
skills and concepts?
