1. Newton's law
Paraphrase
1. One day I was not listening to the teacher in the science class. One moment
teacher looked at my face. She understood that I was not paying attention. She
became very angry with me. I didn't looked at teacher. I knew that she was
angry. I knew that I couldn't escape from her anger.
2. She asked me to explain Newton's law of Gravity and mass to the whole
class. My mind was blank. There was nothing in my mind ( I was inattentive in
the class. I didn't hear a word told by the teacher.) My heart started to beat
louder with fear. My mind started to search for an answer with difficulty. I
walked in front of the class with great difficulty.
3. I stood before the class trembling with fear. (I didn't know what is Gravity or
mass.) I started with the word “Gravity”. But suddenly I fell on the floor
unconscious. The children began to laugh loudly. The class roared with
laughter.
4. The children laughed loudly and nervously with great joy. They didn't know
my plight. I was in a sad condition. They didn't know it. The teacher
appreciated me for demonstrating Newton's law of Gravity. But she said that I
didn't do that with seriousness. (She couldn't understand that I fell off with
fear)
5. After a long time I returned to my seat. Children greeted me with applause
for my performance. Then I went through the whole incident in my mind. I
realised that my carelessness in the class is the reason for this. So I decided to
listen to the class and not to let my mind wander anywhere.
