The document describes editing several images for a publication by removing green screen backgrounds using Photoshop tools. For images of an artist, the background was removed until just the artist remained. For an editor's signature, the background was removed leaving just the signature. Backgrounds were removed and images cropped to fit desired positions for the front cover, contents page, and articles.

1. Above are print screens of my central image for my front cover. To the left is how the image
originally looked, with the green screen in the background. I then used the magic wand tool and the
rubber in photoshop to get rid of the background until it is just my artist left on the screen.

my artist left on the screen. After doing that, I cropped off the artist’s legs in order for the image to fit my desired position for the
contents page.

6. Above is my editor’s signature for the editor’s note on the contents page. The image on the left contains the signature with the
white background intact. I then edited the image, as seen in the right image, in which the signature is without the background.
