2. One of my favorite
discussions in class was on
the first day when we all
had to think of an
adjective that began with
the first letter of our
names. Mine was “Active”
and Lord knows I’m not
active. It was a fun
experience getting to
know everyone attending
the class while having
some fun also.
One of my favorite
assignments would have to
be Chapter 3 Journal
Entry 10. It was fun to
think about my future and
how my graduation might
be. Thinking about all of
my family being there to
cheer me on just like they
did my high school
graduation made me get
kind of emotional just
writing about it.
Another one of my
favorite assignments
would have to be going
outside and trying to
find Mrs. Cumming’s
vehicle. It was fun not
only because we were all
running around like our
heads were cut off, but
also because it taught us
that we need to ask
questions before we just
start a task that we have
no clue what we are
looking for.
3. I really enjoyed Journal
Entry 1: Self-Assessment
because it helped me get
to know myself and what
I needed to work on. By
the time I got to the
second self-assessment, I
had improved my scores
and that makes me feel
very good about myself!
Chapter 2 Journal
Entry 7 is one of my
favorites because I
actually caught myself
explaining what it
was to one of my
friends when she
came over to do some
homework. I’ve never
actually learned
something that I
actually wanted to
talk to friends about.
I liked Chapter 7
Journal Entry 28
because I feel like it
showed me what I
learned and it showed
me that I do know
what is important and
what isn’t. It showed
me that I don’t always
make the wrong
decisions.
4. I liked the first week the best,
probably because everybody was
getting used to the class all together.
That, and it was fun getting to
know every body.
5. One of the lessons I think I
will carry with me is the
Self-Assessment we did
about what we do in our
free time. I feel like my
scores changed a lot within
the couple of weeks of
retaking it.
Chapter 2 Journal Entry 7
is one of my favorites
because I actually caught
myself explaining what it
was to one of my friends
when she came over to do
some homework. I’ve never
actually learned something
that I actually wanted to
talk to friends about.
I actually really enjoyed
this whole class
experience. I learned a
lot of things about
myself that I will carry
through the rest of my
college years.
6. Going through this self-assessment, and this class alone, it has
brought a few things to my mind that I never would have seen
without this class. 1. I wouldn’t see how much I really
procrastinate, 2. I can now see how important self
management is in college, which will help more with my
upcoming years, and 3. It would have never came to my
attention how much personal responsibility I really do lack.
With learning those things about myself, I truly believe they will
help me grow and be successful.

7. When I think about who I want to be in my
future, these are the people (and dogs haha) I
see. They have helped me out way too many
times than they had to and I would love
nothing more than to do the same in return.
