Conference’, Indonesia, 1955.
• First NAM submit conference in
Belgrade, Yugoslavia, 1961.
• Havana Declaration of 1979.
• Against imperialism, colonialism, neo-
colonialism, racism, and all forms of
foreign subjugation.

Non-aligned
Movement
• Respect for principles under the United Nation
charter and International law.
• Respect sovereignty and territorial integrity.
• Settlement of International disputes with the
charter of the UN.
• Respect the political, economic, social, and
cultural diversity of countries.
• Respect the rights of individuals mentioned in
the charter of the UN.
• Non-interference in the Internal affairs of states.
• Promotion and defense of multilateralism.
5. Objectives

• Opposing colonialism and
imperialism;
• Opposing military alliances and
nuclear weapons acquisitions;
• Declaring the UN as the
peacekeeping body;
