Drive new user adoption of new OTM processes and procedures
Serve as the ‘functional’ expert in OTM, with some cross-over in technical support
Lead the configuration and modification of existing configuration of the application for existing clients
Support new client implementations, as the role of ‘Master Data Manager’ by creating upload templates and
performing initial uploads into the application for items, locations, rates, etc.
Serve as the hand-off point between IT and Operations, at the time a new configuration is completed and a
client is live on the application
Manage day-to-day activities related to master data in the application and the integrity of the master data
Serve as the primary translator of business (functional) requirements into technical requirements, in
partnership/collaboration with IT

IT Support organization in region

2. OTM Super-User: Ensure that the Transportation Management system (TMS) (and supporting peripheral systems) are functioning
effectively and supporting the operations
Work closely with the implementation team to ensure that the systems are configured appropriately to meet
specific customer requirements (with the pre-defined operational standards)
Ensure that all efforts are made to adhere to the predefined global template for ALL TMS implementations
Execute or oversee the loading of new carriers, lanes, rates, part data, etc. into the systems
Execute the creation of reports and other performance-based output captured from the operational data
Analyze client and operational needs and make recommendations for developing, implementing, and/or
improving, transportation services/operations
Understand and communicate the system costs to the leadership team
Function as the technical lead on new client implementations
Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, streamline processes, drive standard work, and eliminate
waste
Troubleshoot systems issues
Coordinate testing with other technical groups, clients, and users

Carrier Relations/Claims, 2008-2013
Carrier Relations: Process and qualify new Carriers by validating information and documents provided by the carrier through agencies
such as: FMCSA, TIA, A.M. Best, USDOT and FEIN Search. Perform vendor maintenance by monitoring carrier
safety scores and ratings, authority changes, insurance updates and contracts audits. Maintain Carrier KPI’s and
performance scorecards. Administer RFI’s, RFP’s, and RFQ’s for current and new business. Recruit new asset
based carriers to reduce broker usage while supporting and maintaining our service and commitment standards to
the customer.
Claims: Research and obtain all documents leading up to the claim. Process customer’s claims by preparing and filing claim
with carrier. Monitor progress of claims filed. Arrange for payment to customers once the claim has been resolved,
if denied verify the justification and communicate back to customer. Maintain claim files and KPI’s.
OTM Super-User: Train associates, carriers and customers according to their roles. Load and maintain customer & carrier rates,
accessorial charges and fuel tables. Maintain carrier load tendering sequence, insurance, authority, contact
information & other vital information. Create Domain levels to meet business needs. Assist with trouble shooting
to resolve issues that may occur within order releases, buy/sell shipments, carrier tendering, carrier contacts and
locations. Create rate versions, rate offerings and rate records. Along with weight break profiles, accessorial codes,
accessorial cost ID’s, rate qualifiers, rate factors, rate factor rules and regions. Create CSV files for quick and easy
uploads.
