Reflection:
Teacher appears very charming and pleasant as he greets
the students and asks about the assignment of the last
class. Teacher shows a video of a student reading out a
passage but without any expression or smile which
appeared weird and blunt. In between teacher interacts
with the students just like in a classroom. The teacher
sings the poemwith correct stress and pronunciation and
even explainsthe stanzaswith correct stress and tone. He
also uses mother tongue in between. There is a
3. explanation of visual and auditory imagery and also of
the rhyming scheme which helps studentsin the in depth
understanding of the poem. The teacher gives
appropriate activities in between the class like drawing
picturesalongwith listeningto thepoem. Throughoutthe
class teacher appeared calm, composed and confident.
The only thing that botheredme was that the stanza was
read and explained again and again, which might create
confusion in the minds of some and on the other hand it
can prove useful to understand poemdeeply. Overall the
class was an excellent one with adequate use of audio -
visual aids.
Visuals Presented:
Video of a student assignment (speech on a train
journey)
Textual presentation of poem with appropriate
pictures.
Audio- Visual presentation of the poem.
