24. Vocabulary. Home office
setup
My workspace is clean, bright and minimalist.
There aren’t that many things on my desk. There is
a keyboard, a mouse, a small stack of books and a
headset I use for work.
As a software developer, I need to write and
review a lot of code so those two huge computer
monitors you can see in the picture are absolutely
essential to me. There is always a lot of natural
light in my room because my chair faces a giant
window. It is not distracting to me at all. On the
contrary, it helps me focus. One thing I really
want to buy is a plant for my desk. There aren’t
any plants on my desk at the moment.
26. Vocabulary. Home office
setup I’m a creative person. Self-organization isn’t something
I am good at so my home office gets messy sometimes.
However, I always do my best to keep it nicely
organized. Right now, my office setup is very simple.
As you can see, there is a desk with a single computer
monitor and two of my laptops on the right. There is
also a printer to my left. Actually, I think it takes up too
much space so I probably need to move it somewhere
else. There are some of my black and white photos and a
wooden shelf above the desk. On top of the shelf,
there are my photo cameras. There is also a shelf rack
in the right corner where I keep my books and
accessories like headphones and various small
gadgets. There is a guitar in the far left corner of my
room. I like to play it during rest breaks. Luckily, you
cannot see what is behind my rolling chair. There is a lot
of mess there!
