3. CHALLENGE the situation of being faced with something that needs
great mental or physical effort in order to be done successfully and
therefore tests a person’s ability

4. RICHARD’S CHALLENGES
CHALLENGE 1
Mp : Richard was forced to do things that he hated
E : Hunting
-He purposely misses the buck
- could not afford to kill innocent creatures
J : He told his truth feeling to his pa about killing innocent animals

5. CHALLENGE 2
Mp : Not supported by his family to write poet
E : Pa said bad things about poetry
- poetry filling Richard’s head with foolish ideas
J : he still wrote poet
-he can express his feeling

Mp : Richard was being different from others
E : Richard’s classmates hate him
- he wrote poem
- befriend with Hannah
J : Richard ignore them
- still befriend with Hannah because he did not saw Hannah
as a bad influence
