Markets opened on a subdued note, traded with positive bias in the early hour of the trade, but were unable to
sustain the gains which led the indices to close in red. On the daily charts we are witnessing series of narrow
range body which indicates just a consolidation of the previous rise and no clarity of the trend. In the coming
trading session if indices trade above 18045 / 5420 levels then it is likely to test 18167 / 5450 levels. On the
downside, 17780 – 17690 / 5340 – 5310 levels may act as support for the day.
