Does the lesson have a motivation activity? If so, which one?
Yes, I think that she motivated the students whe she paste the flashcards on the blackboard to learn at the
moment she pasted the flashcards on the blackboard.Students need to learn the new language in order to
describe the animals. Also the song "make a circle" was a warm up about the adjectives.
Although the initial games weren't part of the topic are motivitional for the students.
Does the lesson have a presentation of material? If so, which one?
Yes the class had a presenttion of material, there the teacher was using the grammar (deductively) , method
because the teacher explained the topic( in spanish) when the teacher said : "recuerden que primero
escribimos el adjetivo y luego el sustantivo " she puts the ruler on the table, then the student only have to
sustract the information and apply.
The input is in his majority the input is spoken, and as the teacher had pappers with labels could be reading

Does the lesson have a controlled practice activity? If so, which one?
Yes, teacher made an activity which the whole class had to look to theother side of classroom, then she
mimic some animals and the students have to say what is the correct adjective.
After she made an individua activity which they play " hot potato", and the students had to go to the
blackboard and they had to said the adjective.
Besides the theacher made an activity in order to pratice the uses of there is and there are.
Does the lesson have an application activity? If so, which one?
At the lesson final, the teacher, ask them to make an activity in the book completing two activities.
These activities was homework, they had to use the correct adjectives with each noun, and use there is and
there are

For me the evaluation activities weren't evident but the teacher told me that she was paying attention to
the students attitude, then they going to have an valoration of this.

RECORDING SHEET FOR lesson planning Preservice Teacher Name Kimberhly Andrea Prieto Castañeda Date:17/10/18 Day of the week Wednesday Context: It was the second grade (2nd A) This is a private school They have 4 hours per week This is the fouth hour class It is after the first break of day There are 23 students, the average is from to 7 to 8 years old, 11 girls and 12 years old. Topic: Adjetives for animals Start time of observation: 10:32 am End time of observation: 11:17 am Strategy/techn ique & apparent purpose Teacher talk and action Student response Observer Queries, comments Grammar translation activity /To identify what adjectives correspond to each animal. teacher tell them the word in english and made the mimic they have to say the word in Spanish. students ask Thin? Small? Big? Students are only making a "coro" with the answer,then is difficult yo know who students know and whose didn't know. A kind of spoken Fill the gaps/ practice Teacher taked the adjective papers and then she pass different students to complete (spoken ) the adjective with the animal students have to said the adjective The teacher didn't explained the "game rulers ", she didn't speak about make the activitiy in files Memory game/ make a reinforcement for each adjective Teacher said and mimic an animal and students have to guess the animal and the correct adjective Students have to said the correct adjective for each animal Students were motivated with the mimic

If so, which one? Yes, I think that she motivated the students whe she paste the flashcards on the blackboard to learn at the moment she pasted the flashcards on the blackboard.Students need to learn the new language in order to describe the animals. Also the song "make a circle" was a warm up about the adjectives. Although the initial games weren't part of the topic are motivitional for the students. Does the lesson have a presentation of material? If so, which one? Yes the class had a presenttion of material, there the teacher was using the grammar (deductively) , method because the teacher explained the topic( in spanish) when the teacher said : "recuerden que primero escribimos el adjetivo y luego el sustantivo " she puts the ruler on the table, then the student only have to sustract the information and apply. The input is in his majority the input is spoken, and as the teacher had pappers with labels could be reading Also the teacher explained the use of there is and there are Does the lesson have a controlled practice activity? If so, which one? Yes, teacher made an activity which the whole class had to look to theother side of classroom, then she mimic some animals and the students have to say what is the correct adjective. After she made an individua activity which they play " hot potato", and the students had to go to the blackboard and they had to said the adjective. Besides the theacher made an activity in order to pratice the uses of there is and there are. Does the lesson have an application activity? If so, which one? At the lesson final, the teacher, ask them to make an activity in the book completing two activities. These activities was homework, they had to use the correct adjectives with each noun, and use there is and there are
