APPROACH ACTIVITIES OBSERVED
Affective-Humanistic Approach The teacher showed in different occasions a kind of contact with
the students, walking around the classroom.
Reading Approach Students were reading during de class, from the board and also
from a power point.
Comprehension Approach At all times the teacher was aware that each of the students
participated orally and in writing during the class.
Communicative Approach The teacher created opportunity through oral and written tasks to
make the students communicate in the target language.

Comprehension Approach
Well, I understand how important it is to make things clear for
the learners. So, I see, there are many things I need to learn about
this matter.
Communicative Approach Managing in an appropriate manner, I, as a teacher can be able to
perform a better job in my English classes.

OBSERVATION REFLECTIONS: JACQUELINE CLASS Approach Characteristic Observation Affective-Humanistic Approach Respect to the students, making the student feel comfortable in the learning environment The teacher always addressed her students respectfully. She made the observations ethically. Reading Approach Teaching practical skill, uses of vocabulary and grammar structure teaching The teacher was teaching information to be used in the context of Summary and Quote. Comprehension Approach Making meaning clear, help learning gain confidence through the process of learning The teacher used a lot of emphases to explain everything to the learners. Using the board, power point and oral explanation with examples. Communicative Approach Connect people together; help the learners to show their progress on the learning. The teacher used a quiz to see the level of comprehension of the learners. Explaining how the teacher used specific approaches: APPROACH ACTIVITIES OBSERVED Affective-Humanistic Approach The teacher showed in different occasions a kind of contact with the students, walking around the classroom. Reading Approach Students were reading during de class, from the board and also from a power point. Comprehension Approach At all times the teacher was aware that each of the students participated orally and in writing during the class. Communicative Approach The teacher created opportunity through oral and written tasks to make the students communicate in the target language. Comprehension Approach Well, I understand how important it is to make things clear for the learners. So, I see, there are many things I need to learn about this matter. Communicative Approach Managing in an appropriate manner, I, as a teacher can be able to perform a better job in my English classes.
