If I were tobe totally honest, Iwould wanttowrite aboutthe art of disabilities withinfilms
because havingpeoplewithdisabledfeaturesasthe maintalkis interestingbecause youcanin
inside towhattheirstory is all aboutand how they came to be a successful outcome withinthe
world. Also, the amountof views of the filmisreally interestingbecause it’snoteveryday youhear
abouta story about a person witha disability enticedwithinthemsuchasfacial issues orautism.
Thisis whathas made me so curiousaboutthe art of disabilities, andhow they canhelpthe
individualfeel special andinterestingtothe worldandthat they can be justlike everybody else
and feel special inthe worldtoo. ThisiswhatI wantto incorporate within myfinal majorproject
inyear 2. The story is abouta young18 yearoldteenagernamedSunsetwhoturnsoutto have
autism, butonly a small portionof it like myself. The truthisthatshe is constantly bulliedfor
havinga learningproblemandnotbeing‘normal’ like the bullies claimthey are. Thisdrives her
intoa complete meltdown, andshe keeps havinghallucinations of the devil, tellingherthatshe is
spawnof him, andto nevertrustanyone. Thatis until she meetsaboy namedJake whotellshere
that she’snotalone andhe toohas autism, whichmeansthatthey are alike. Sunsetbegins to
understand Jake andthat she istruly not alone inthe worldandthat there are others outthere,
not justher.The name of myprojectwill be namedNotAlone.
