Working Title:
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Ty: The Series
My project is called Ty: The Unicorn Series, which is a collection of episodes that centres
around the life of 3 peculiar unicorns: Rosette, Ariella and Cherie. There are 3 episodes in
total: A Normal Average Day, Rosette’s Problem and finally, Cherie’s Date.
Ty Does Top Gear
My second project is called Ty Does Top Gear, a spin off episode inspired by the infamous
Zippy and George Does Top Gear video, however my version will be more child friendly and
entertaining.
MLP (My Little Pony) VS Lego
Finally, my third project is called MLP (My Little Pony) Vs Lego, which is a single video all
about the ponies from the pony kingdom and the lego characters from the lego kingdom up
on Brickledge Hill about to fight for the justice of their kingdoms. In this video, there will be
no violence due to the new Youtube policy, so all the actions will be done in comedic timing
and entertaining, funny movements that will guarantee to make you cry with laughter.
Audience:
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc. Use the
Audience Classifications PowerPoint on Blackboard to help you develop this section.
Why would your project appeal to this person? Discuss each audience element in relation to
content (why would your product appeal to the age group? Why would your product appeal to the
gender? Etc.)
My chosen audience for these videos is 6-18 year olds. In my opinion, this is a good age
range because I’m aiming for the episodes to come out as something of a
comedy/children’s entertainment. In terms of gender, there will be a mixture of both male
and female characters however, because it is gathered that girls like unicorns more, that
there are more girl characters than boy characters, especially in Lego. However I am not
intending any sexism. I believe that the product will appeal the gender part of the audience
because there will be a mixture of both characters and also, both genders tend to enjoy
comedy whatever the show brings. In terms of psychographics, I will aim my project to
achieve all the groups of psychographics because the videos all have a plot that is based on
the impact of life and how we make of it. I believe that my product will appeal these
psychographics because I believe that the impacts of life is what you make of it and how
you live your live to the full. Finally, in terms of social status, this video is open for all
classes to enjoy: from working to upper. I believe this will suit all the classes because the
upper class can look and reflect on the life of working class residents and how they adapt
life.

How has the subjects you have studied this year informed your choice for this project?
What have you studied and how will it have a direct impact upon your project?
Throughout the recent year of level 3, I have acquired the skills of filming with a camera,
however, in this case I will not be using a camera too make the videos, I will use the camera
on my phone to film the calamities because I do not own an actual camera such as a Nikon. I
do believe that the projects I have participated in this year have helped with the decision of
what to make out of my project because after the filming project, I realised deep down how
much fun it was and how effective it will be towards the audience. I have studied the art of
filming and how to create effects in order to make the audience feel interested, and I did this
through the music video topic and the filming topic, and after the events of the two projects,
I had gotten better at filming and it’s impacts.

Ty: The Unicorn Series
I will be making a short series of short films based on the life of three one the Ty Beanie Boo
Unicorns. Those unicorns are Rosette, Ariella and Cherie, and these films reflect on a
certain aspect of their lives, beginning with episode 1: A Normal Average Day, where the
girls need to find some way to pay off an expensive bill. In the outcome, they put on a circus
in their home to please the audience (fellow unicorns) and each entry pays more to their bill.
The show becomes a success and the girls are happy with what they’ve achieved. The
second episode is called Rosette’s Problem, where at the beginning of the episode, Rosette
misbehaves in a very peculiar manner, so Ariella and Cherie decide to investigate. When
they confront Rosette, she explains that she has autism, and the girls understand this and
appreciate Rosette for who she is. Finally, the third episode is called Cherie’s date, where
Cherie feels alone for Valentine’s Day, that is until Ariella suggests that she dates Blitz, the
most rebellious unicorns ever known. Cherie has doubts about this but as the date ensues,
she find thats there’s more to Blitz than meets the eye.
Ty Does Top Gear
For my second project, the Top Gear episode, the plot is pretty hilarious. So the video begins with my
dining room where the camera interrupts a conversation between Rosette and Ariella who then explain
what they're going to do. We then roll into one off my parents cars where they explain what it is and
how important it is.Just as they are explain, Cherie interrupts with her comments, which. Results in
her abduction to stop her interruptions. A episode full of conundrums and funny setbacks guaranteed
to maker your ribs tickle with joy!
Mlp (My Little Pony) Vs Lego
This video takes place on the top of my chest of draws, also known as Brickledge hill, whew
the characters of the lego and pony kingdoms fight in comedy style in order to reign
supreme with hilarious consequences.
In regards to research, I will conduct interviews and surveys in order to gain knowledge of
what the audience would like in oder to feel satisfied with the product. I am sure it will help
make my project by gathering opinions on specific topics and what they are interested in
most.

How do you plan to evaluate the work? Reference conducting on-going evaluation and your final
self-reflection, analysing your work and its outcomes.
In order to evaluate my work, I am to get some feedback on how it went well and what I
could improve. I also aim to annotate the audience appeal aswell as the technical qualities
on how it looks and ion it could do with any additions to the work.

Ty: The Unicorn Series Collection

  • 1. 1 Working Title: What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later Ty: The Series My project is called Ty: The Unicorn Series, which is a collection of episodes that centres around the life of 3 peculiar unicorns: Rosette, Ariella and Cherie. There are 3 episodes in total: A Normal Average Day, Rosette’s Problem and finally, Cherie’s Date. Ty Does Top Gear My second project is called Ty Does Top Gear, a spin off episode inspired by the infamous Zippy and George Does Top Gear video, however my version will be more child friendly and entertaining. MLP (My Little Pony) VS Lego Finally, my third project is called MLP (My Little Pony) Vs Lego, which is a single video all about the ponies from the pony kingdom and the lego characters from the lego kingdom up on Brickledge Hill about to fight for the justice of their kingdoms. In this video, there will be no violence due to the new Youtube policy, so all the actions will be done in comedic timing and entertaining, funny movements that will guarantee to make you cry with laughter. Audience: Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc. Use the Audience Classifications PowerPoint on Blackboard to help you develop this section. Why would your project appeal to this person? Discuss each audience element in relation to content (why would your product appeal to the age group? Why would your product appeal to the gender? Etc.) My chosen audience for these videos is 6-18 year olds. In my opinion, this is a good age range because I’m aiming for the episodes to come out as something of a comedy/children’s entertainment. In terms of gender, there will be a mixture of both male and female characters however, because it is gathered that girls like unicorns more, that there are more girl characters than boy characters, especially in Lego. However I am not intending any sexism. I believe that the product will appeal the gender part of the audience because there will be a mixture of both characters and also, both genders tend to enjoy comedy whatever the show brings. In terms of psychographics, I will aim my project to achieve all the groups of psychographics because the videos all have a plot that is based on the impact of life and how we make of it. I believe that my product will appeal these psychographics because I believe that the impacts of life is what you make of it and how you live your live to the full. Finally, in terms of social status, this video is open for all classes to enjoy: from working to upper. I believe this will suit all the classes because the upper class can look and reflect on the life of working class residents and how they adapt life.
  • 2. 2 Rationale (approx. 100 words) Review your progress throughout the year- what skills and knowledge have you acquired? How has the subjects you have studied this year informed your choice for this project? What have you studied and how will it have a direct impact upon your project? Throughout the recent year of level 3, I have acquired the skills of filming with a camera, however, in this case I will not be using a camera too make the videos, I will use the camera on my phone to film the calamities because I do not own an actual camera such as a Nikon. I do believe that the projects I have participated in this year have helped with the decision of what to make out of my project because after the filming project, I realised deep down how much fun it was and how effective it will be towards the audience. I have studied the art of filming and how to create effects in order to make the audience feel interested, and I did this through the music video topic and the filming topic, and after the events of the two projects, I had gotten better at filming and it’s impacts. Project Concept (approx. 200 words) What is the concept for your project and what are you going to make? What research will you need to conduct and how will it help you make your project/ Ty: The Unicorn Series I will be making a short series of short films based on the life of three one the Ty Beanie Boo Unicorns. Those unicorns are Rosette, Ariella and Cherie, and these films reflect on a certain aspect of their lives, beginning with episode 1: A Normal Average Day, where the girls need to find some way to pay off an expensive bill. In the outcome, they put on a circus in their home to please the audience (fellow unicorns) and each entry pays more to their bill. The show becomes a success and the girls are happy with what they’ve achieved. The second episode is called Rosette’s Problem, where at the beginning of the episode, Rosette misbehaves in a very peculiar manner, so Ariella and Cherie decide to investigate. When they confront Rosette, she explains that she has autism, and the girls understand this and appreciate Rosette for who she is. Finally, the third episode is called Cherie’s date, where Cherie feels alone for Valentine’s Day, that is until Ariella suggests that she dates Blitz, the most rebellious unicorns ever known. Cherie has doubts about this but as the date ensues, she find thats there’s more to Blitz than meets the eye. Ty Does Top Gear For my second project, the Top Gear episode, the plot is pretty hilarious. So the video begins with my dining room where the camera interrupts a conversation between Rosette and Ariella who then explain what they're going to do. We then roll into one off my parents cars where they explain what it is and how important it is.Just as they are explain, Cherie interrupts with her comments, which. Results in her abduction to stop her interruptions. A episode full of conundrums and funny setbacks guaranteed to maker your ribs tickle with joy! Mlp (My Little Pony) Vs Lego This video takes place on the top of my chest of draws, also known as Brickledge hill, whew the characters of the lego and pony kingdoms fight in comedy style in order to reign supreme with hilarious consequences. In regards to research, I will conduct interviews and surveys in order to gain knowledge of what the audience would like in oder to feel satisfied with the product. I am sure it will help make my project by gathering opinions on specific topics and what they are interested in most.
  • 3. 3 Evaluation (approx. 50 words) How do you plan to evaluate the work? Reference conducting on-going evaluation and your final self-reflection, analysing your work and its outcomes. In order to evaluate my work, I am to get some feedback on how it went well and what I could improve. I also aim to annotate the audience appeal aswell as the technical qualities on how it looks and ion it could do with any additions to the work.
