Objective
To obtain a careerwithin my chosen field that will challengeme and allow me to use my education, skills, and past

Experience
Triangle Visions Optometry June 2008- Present
 In-house EMR software expert: Available to all staff and owners for troubleshooting, report building, system set up,
and training with EMR software.
 Training Manager: Oversaw and ran on-board training to give all new staff adequate EMR software knowledge
before entering into direct patient care. Coordinated installation and training for all new equipment with office
schedule, staff hours, and doctor availability. Lead weekly meetings to keep staff up to date on all policies and
procedures.
 Meaningful Use Coordinator: Researched Meaningful Use program as set forth by the government. Educated doctors
on methods needed to achieve Meaningful Use to earn the financial reimbursement.
 Technician Manager: Managed schedules to ensure adequate staff-to-patient ratios while meeting payroll budget
goals. Conducted monthly observations to keep all technicians performing at highest quality. Held quarterly
performance reviews with each staff member to keep open lines of communication. Calculated daily KPI numbers to
keep staff focused on monthly performance goals.
 Optometric Technician: Performed pre-testing and diagnostic testing with patients to enable doctors to accurately
diagnose and treat patients. Conducted patient education sessions to ensure compliance with doctor’s directives.
Special Projects
 Coordinated two mission trips in 2016 in partnership with Lions In Sight. Traveled to Panama and Mexico to do
eye exams and give out glasses. Saw 3400 patients between the two trips with 6 total clinic days.
