patient care policies that govern the entire delivery system; scheduling meetings, booking rooms, and
maintaining Clinical Practice calendars and distribution lists in Outlook; creating agendas, documenting high
level discussions and action items, and distributing meeting materials to Clinical Advisory Workgroup (CAW)
members; managing SharePoint websites for all service line CAWs (i.e. granting appropriate access to these
sites to CAW members according to their role/function, working with director and administrator level
management to distribute training and education materials via this platform, etc.). I am also in charge of
enrolling all new hire and contracted agency Nursing Staff in classroom training and CBT modules for my
organization’s EMR documentation tool. This is a very manual process, and I have successfully worked with
management to streamline this process by automating a number of steps, and in doing so saving time and
money for the organization. I am actively involved in the onboarding of new hires as I attend biweekly
Nursing Staff orientations and meet the new hires in person, acting as a liaison/ambassador for the EMR
training team. I also support hiring managers at both the CDS and RDS facilities by working with IT Security
to grant appropriate EMR charting access to contracted staff when they onboard. I also support new and
expanding nurse residence programs by tracking metrics such as: financial expenditures, hiring information
for program candidates, building customer feedback surveys and compiling that data into a readable
spreadsheet report for upper management. In addition to these major duties in my current job, I also provide
a wide variety of miscellaneous support services such as: running regular reports on training module
completion statuses for all staff, organizing preparatory certification courses and seminars (completing the
build in the LMS, enrolling staff, setting up and breaking down training facilities, awarding clinical education
credits to attendees, and creating consumer feedback surveys for these courses and compiling this
information into comprehensive reports for upper management).
UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO COLLEGE OF PHARMACY- Albuquerque, NM

In this position I was responsible for a variety of HR duties. Those duties included all facets of the hiring
process such as interviewing candidates, verifying past employment and conducting background checks, job

HR team and I were responsible for reorganizing the entire Human Resources Department organization of
the UNM College of Pharmacy. We presented to the College Administration the time-to-fill metrics from
before and after the implementation of the HR centralization project. Within only three months, our metrics
showed a huge reduction in the time it takes to request a new hire and to get that new hire in the door.
Furthermore, we developed new onboarding protocol structured so as to address the needs of each individual
position within the College. Additional duties included holding quarterly HR best practices seminars open to
the entire College Staff utilizing Microsoft Power Point and Excel. Other areas of responsibility: gathered job
description information for a succession planning project, reaccreditation projects such as compa-ratio
metrics, mandatory training compliance, and analysis of AACP data – staff FTE breakdowns and percentages
of effort.
