2. Dates
I will be making sure that my series will be complete and released before the
television award season, which take place in January. Overall production should
take 5 months but I will allow 6 months just incase we run into any problems during
filming or editing. We will start filming on July 2nd, and we plan to release the series
on January 7th . The series is 10 episodes long and will be on every weekend
meaning it will finish March 11th .
Each episode will take 6 days to film and there will be a 6 am start finish times will
vary depending on what is happening in the episode but it will take between 11-13
hours at most.
3. Locations
My series will take place in two locations both on location and in a studio. We will
film all outside scenes on location which will be Tatton park in order to keep it
realistic, this will include anything that requires the gardens and will be needed for
no more than 4 episodes. We will be using BBC Elstree Centre studios, Studio D
which is 11,800 square feet. This is the best for my series as the studio has been
used to film EastEnders and Holby City so I know I can make it work and fit to how I
need my set.
The studio will require a lot of adjustments and will need dressing up so we can get
an accurate recreation of the interior of Tatton park however we will have plenty of
space to do so.
4. Contingency plan
• Cast/crew absent
• Not enough money
• Location issues
• Running out of time
• Equipment not working
• Film scenes that do not require the actor, if absence
continues find replacement
• Will make a budget plan before hand making sure we
leave a little but extra just in case we go over on anything
• Plan everything well in advance and contact our locations
making sure we have booked it out for ourselves and
make sure there are no overlaps
• We shall stick to our schedule as best as we can and plan
in advance for any problems that may occur so that we
can easily over come them
• We will test all equipment before filming to make sure
everything is working, if anything is to break on site we
will have someone on site or near by to fix the problems
or turn to our back up equipment.
Potential problems How we will fix it
