1. Duringour project/experimentwe hadtodemonstrate aconversationusing matchonaction,180°
angle andmany othercamera angle methods. The greatestsuccesswe had withinthisvideo was
that the sceneswhere easytofilm& edit, thisnotonlyaidedusin savingtime butleadtoour
footage havingagood qualityoverall (asthe differentcameraanglesflowedsmoothlyand
seamlessly).
One aspectwhichdidnot go as well (butwasovercome) wasthatof inexperiencedactors,by having
inexperiencedactorsperforminginourpiece we hadincorrectperforming/blockingmoments,such
as, actors lookingatthe camera, actors notfollowingscriptandactorsnot beinginthe rightplace in
the scene.Howeverthese wereall resolvedwith simple editingtechniques(ascuttingatthe right
time) andalteringthe frame tomake themlooklike theyare inthe right place. However, the actors
where still goodintheirperformance & attitude butif havingtodothistask againI wouldinformthe
actors more on where they neededtobe withinthe scene ¬to adventure off fromthe script(to
save confusionandtime).
If I hadto do differentlynexttime (intermsof cameraangles) Iwoulduse atripodinhelpingusget
the correct angle and position.
What I have learntfromthisexercise wasthatthe scenesneededtobe timedperfectlytogetthe
overall seamlesseffect(suchasthe actionof enteringthe door),IthinklearningfrommymistakesI
wouldhave usedatripodin have thisstable effectinhelpingusgetthe perfectmatchonaction
scene.
