Trained and implemented the EClinicalWorks, NextGen and Centricity Systems. Participated in the on-
boarding of several new office locations and physicians. Developed workflows and templates to
incorporate into the electronic health record taking into consideration the requirements of the Accountable
Care Organization, Patient Centered Medical Home and Meaningful Use. Implemented and trained staff
on CMS Incentive Programs; E-Prescribing, Physician Quality Reporting System and Meaningful Use.
Monitored provider progress in each of these programs and communicated results to the providers and
administration. Implemented patient portal and kiosk check-in systems. Managed the implementation of
lab and diagnostic interfaces. Monitored table maintenance and system security. Project lead for security
risk analysis. Created reports and validated data for the various programs NOMS participates in.
Helpdesk support and troubleshooting of user questions and problems with using the software and

Appointed Central Billing Office Coordinator, reporting to the Central Billing Office Director and CEO in
2008. Analyzed insurance reimbursements to ensure they aligned with insurance contracts. Developed
and analyzed aging and reimbursement reports. Performed insurance billing, follow up and appeal.
Guided office staff on coding and billing of office and ambulatory services.
Billing and Coding Specialist, November 1998 - April 2005
Performed CPT and ICD-9 coding of surgical and outpatient charts and entered the billing information
into the practice management system as well as performing the insurance claims follow up. Developed
and implemented a payment plan process for patient responsibility items and balances.
