To whom it may concern,
I am writing to recommend Raj Chhaya for a position in your organization. Raj was employed by
me this past summer (May, 2013 - August, 2013) as a marketer for my business.
Raj was an outstanding employee during this period, and completed everything asked of him on
time and to it's completion. His responsibilities were to cold call in prescribed neighborhoods to
obtain contact information for people interested in our services, regularly update a spreadsheet
with the information and hours worked, distribute flyers, door hangers and complete whatever
other tasks I gave him on a daily basis. Raj was always on time, organized, and willing to meet
outside of work hours to strategize and further plan how to use time most efficiently.
Raj also demonstrated a great ability to work with a team, as he was not the only marketer I had
employed, by always having a group plan to make his shift run smoothly based on his
experience. I find this an invaluable trait in an employee, for I do not have time to strategize
down to the last detail with everyone.
Raj also showed a great skill in dealing with people other than his own teammates by quickly
developing a rapport with potential customers and generating more leads than my other
marketers almost from the first day. He was a true asset to my business, and I recommend him
for any endeavor he chooses to pursue.
