Mood Board
Mood Board- Image 1
The reason I chose this as my first image was because it gave me loads of different types of
inspiration. For example the way the characters are positioned to their destination, the way
they carry and hold their weapons and the detail that the weapons have got on them. Also
the scenery has been placed perfectly for you to see the difference in the destroyed city and
the hill the characters are standing on. Finally the character design shows how much detail
they’ve placed in hair, trousers, and shirts to pouches, scarves and arm bands.
Mood Board- Image 2
The reason behind me selecting this image was because it gave me 4 different elements I
knew I should look at improving. The first one being buildings and the textureing and shape
to create them. Secondly, the fire as it wants to look deadly and threatening not weak.
Thirdly the way the environment changes from a fire and look into what would crumble and
fall/what will stay standing. Finally, the fourth element would be te characters movement,
since it makes me wonder about many other situation characters action point would change
due to their surroundings. Something I need to keep an eye on.
Mood Board- Image 3
This image inspired me since I’m trying to find different environments and the way they’re
represented. This image shows many different elements the snow could bring for example,
shoe prints that show how many people go through the area, things like blood are a lot
more visible in snow which means you can use it to symbolize certain areas as dangerous.
Mood Board- Image 4
Continuing similar to the last image this one also caught my eye as scenery that could be
used to show dangerous things like blood running down the stream, things hanging on
trees. But the picture itself is peaceful making me think mages like this are able to be made
into whatever you need them to be. Perhaps starting peaceful then getting more chaotic.
Mood Board- Image 5
This image inspired me not from the ship but from the lighting of everything. This I because
shadows can be very interesting since most the time they make the image instead of having
a plain image. Additionally, shadows can be used to make certain parts of the ship stand out
by using lights similar to this image.
Mood Board- Image 6
This image inspires me as it shows many ways to represent the character. For example it give
the character mystery why they’re in the shadows and what they're planning. Whilst you also
ee they’ve part of a a task force and have committed their life to it.
Mood Board- Image 7
I selected this image since it had different layers I could look at and focus on. For example
there’s the front entrance with the shrubbery on the sides, as it’s the first thing you’d see it
must have impact something I should look at trying to achieve. The house in the background
doesn’t let down the front entrance by keeping the impact with all the different materials and
shapes used to make such a beautiful image. Finally the sky has a massive impact on the
image since It determines the lighting, if not perfect this image could look a lot worse but
they’ve made it perfect so the viewer can appreciate the sky's aroura.
Mood Board- Image 8
This image was to help me think at what I could create for an inventory screen, It made me
wonder if I should have different menus for characters, quest items , and pickups or if it
should all be in one like this.
Mood Board- Image 9
This inventory was similar but had an aesthetic I liked as it showed the armour level and
perks of each piece of weapon and armour. Whilst also having the background of where
you’re currently positioned stead if putting a different menu in the way of the game
Mood Board- Image 10
This image was found when I was looking through different H.u.d’s for games. This one
caught me since it’s simplistic but you still have everything you need to know without over
complication. It also shows a reward system with different ribbons for how well you play
or by special things you complete like 1000 kills with a single weapon.
Mood Board- Image 11
This H.u.d was different to the other which is why I liked it. It gave your teammates health
and level on the side of the screen while on the right you have the map with you’re statistics
which is different to many games that make you check the scoreboard for your current stats.
Finally in the centre bottom there’s the ability list of what your character can do with a timer
showing the cooldown of those abilities.
Mood Board- Image 12
I found this when looking at different maps. Looking at multiple floor plans from games
would help me create my own map and make it fair or both teams and also increase the
challenge.
Mood Board- Image 13
I saw these two characters when looking at different styles of character. The left character
looks like a royal from the way here’s dressed but has high tech armour on potentially
increase his power. Whilst the character on the right could be a suit of armour or a robot,
either way the design is incredible making it look battle scared whilst looking new.
Mood Board- Image 14
I placed this image into my mood board since I wanted to have a look at what types of
designs could be achieved with different weapon types. The way the artist has added
crystals to the weapons gives the weapon some form of life or even a name. The image
is inspirational as I'm wanting to find a way to make weapons more unique and adding
something special like a crystal would be a good thing to try out.
Mood Board- Image 15
This image was looking more at firearms instead of melee weapons. I found that
there’s always a knew look you’re able to give a weapon and this image shows that
even current guns all look different in their own ways. Giving them personality.
Mood Board- Image 16
This image gives inspiration of what power could look like emerging from a character and
how it also makes them look more powerful and threatening. Additionally, this gives an
example of how the power looks not only on the body but when it’s flowing around the
person like an aura.
Mood Board- Image 17
This image was to further expand my knowledge of inventories and what seems to be the
most preferred variance for different games. The way the backpack links to the armour slots
are useful and make it easier to change armour to suit your situation. Something people who
play these games like the fact of that.
Mood Board- Image 18
This inventory is slightly different to the last one as in this it has detailed stats of your
different statistics. Also you have access to what people have dropped near you. You can also
see other menus when in the inventory which makes it easy to swap between them.
Mood Board- Image 19
The image inspires me since my drawing can always be improved and when looking at
different styles I’m able to get inspiraton to create my own style of what I was looking at.
This makes most my characters unique since they’re all thought of at different time,
preventing them from being similar.
Mood Board- Image 20
This image was chosen since hair is one of my weakest points in drawing and this image helps
create your own look for characters and make sure that it doesn’t look like a block of colour. It
also lets you experiment on what you want to create, for example mixing two hair styles
together or trimming down one hair cut to look either better or worse.
Mood Board section 1- scenery
This group of images were all chosen since I found some form of inspiration in the scenery or
the way they’ve laid out the scene. The top three focus more on the weather and how it
effects the surroundings. These also have different moods that can be found within them.
The bottom images were focused more on the layout of the image and the lighting used in
them. The forest scene is laid out from left to right, the ship scene layout is top to bottom
and the house scene is front to back. These three different layout types all benefit the
different scenarios. This is something I should look at when designing my scenes and find out
which one will best show off that scene.
Mood Board section 2 -characters
This section focuses more on the characters and the way
they have been shown off in their art. Each one I selected
because they were unique in their own different way whilst
staying similar being just the character. The top left
character I chose since they’re in the shadows and I thought
it helped me recognise how different shading should be
accomplished. The second image at the top gave me inspiration on attitude that could be
shown from clothing and armour alike also it shows one of the best poses to present a
character. The third image at the top gave me some inspiration on how I could represent
the character having power and the way it can emit from them. The final image lower
down gave me some insight of how I could use characters to make scenes more ominous.
For example if they weren’t there the image would look bad but look too derelict. Whilst
with the characters it makes the scene look better since other people are also witnessing
this.
Mood Board section 3- menus
This section focuses more on
the inventory portion of
menus but has other menu
selections available on the
screen. The first two images
are from more current games
on the market and are looked at
everyday to make sure they work well
for the player, The images below show
games that are older but were up near
the top for their time. This means
they’re at the best the developers
believed they could make it before the game stopped further development. Putting two
different ages together it gives me the option of which looks the best but also which gives
the player more information and Is easiest to manoeuvre around the menus. They all also let
me look at which would be best to give to the player for example the top left image puts you
into an entire new menu, the top right puts it over where you currently are and blurs the
background slightly, the bottom left places the menu in the middle and darkens the
background, and the bottom right places it top the right of the game whilst still being able to
move.
Mood Board section 4- H.U.D’s
This section focuses mainly on the h.u.d of games ad how they place certain displays to
help the player in defeating their enemy. The top left focuses on FPS games and how it
helps the layer focus on their ammo count, surroundings, the objectives and the
equipment they can use. Whilst the top right image focuses on MOBA type games and
those that use abilities. The selected image after going through the top MOBA games
seem to be the basic style each MOBA goes for. They have abilities at the bottom with
one being a super ability. A map somewhere on the screen along with their score, their
teammates with health so a player can recognise when they need to go help somewhere
else on the map, and finally items bought from a shop. These items can show information
when hovered over by the mouse or show which button to press to use an items special
ability
Mood Board section 5- design types
This section focuses on styles of different artists. The first image is a collective from twelve
different anime which all have different styles. This allows me to search through them and
merge some together or take little bits to add to my own style. Similar to the first the
second image is hair styles from different anime. Something I’m weak at is designing hair so
images like this allow me to get a further understanding of hair and possibly the flow the
hair type has in wind and similar forces.
The third image is designs for guns and how even when classed as the same varient of gun
that they can come in many different shapes. If a character uses a gun, that gun type
normally can reflect one the characters personality. Finally, the fourth image looks at melee
weapons and also how malleable the weapon types can be.
Mood Board Analysis
How does your mood board inspire your project?
• My mood board inspires many aspects of my project since I’m still figuring out a full
plan for where my projects final goal will be. The images chosen benefit me since I’m
always trying to improve my skills and become greater than I originally thought I would
be.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
• I believe my mood board will influence my final project greatly since it I will use it to
improve certain aspects of my work and the way I represent certain scenes. The I mages
also will help me create characters in a way you can see their personality from the looks
alone. Or have opposite personality to their looks.
• I also feel like without the mood board my final project would look too similar to past
projects since I wouldn’t of learnt any new information which isn’t something I aspire
for. I want to improve and the mood board is a step towards that improvement.
• Aspects that I would definitely use from my mood board would be the different eyes
and hair that I found since they’re all unique to different artist which will help me create
my own style. Another aspect I will use was the third image of the snowy road since I
would like to have a scene that shows specific aspect like a helmet drop or blood since it
adds more impact in my opinion.
• Aspects I believe I wouldn’t use would be two of the inventory screens I found (17 and
18) since I believe they wouldn’t suit the genre and I want the inventory to be easy to
access and have a smooth look with it. I also don’t believe ill get anything from image
11 since the game I’m planning on creating wouldn’t be multiplayer and doesn’t have
the same needs that that H.u.d gives to the player.
Key Influences - Bleach
• The way I found bleach was through friends and it’s been one of my favourite
shows since. The way it will influence my project would be more towards the
characters and the traits those characters begin with and the evolution of those
characters and traits. The reason why it influences my project is because I’ve never
been able to make characters with good progression within them but bleach is
something that did it perfectly. With the knowledge I have of the show I’m able to
create my own unique power and use a similar evolution stage to bleach and slowly
create my own style of character and power evolution. The images below show the
way they’ve evolved one character over the course of many different episodes
which is the kind if aspect I want to be able to try and but into my characters and
see where I could take them and look at different roots that I could take them
instead of one straight course
Key Influences – Hunter X Hunter
• A show I’ve been watching for many months before the project Hunter X Hunter
influences the way I’ve created stories. The way it would influence my project
would be the way the story of my project is created and planned out in a way that
could potential hint at there being more when there really isn’t. The reason behind
me being influenced by Hunter is because I personally could never make a story
that didn’t feel like it ended after the first few scenes and I wanted to make
something that could evolve in it’s own way.
Key Influences – Hideo Kojima
• Hideo Kojima has been influential to me for years now. Originally it was from his
outstanding game creations and ability to create masterpieces. Now it’s his resolve
that’s influenced me . How he would influence my project would mainly be the way
of controlling the project. Kojima has made many games which inspire me but the
way he controls the progress of those games would benefit me with my project.
The reason why I believe his influence would benefit me is because he makes sure
the project has everything happening at the correct times so the team can move to
the next step of creation without having to take any steps back. He likes to make
sure everything is perfect even if that means delaying the game by a few months. I
need figure out how to perfect my craft whilst doing the project so I can meet the
deadline. The games he created that influenced me is Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom
Pain since the character development shows what the designer thought, and Death
stranding since even though it’s not out yet the artwork and storytelling is
outstanding.
Key Influences – Rainbow Six Siege
• The game which gave many different influences is R6S since it was the first game I
started to look more in-depth to. I would study characters and every possible thing
they could achieve and learn when something wouldn’t be possible. I would create
a private lobby where I could spend hours look in detail at the map and different
key locations. Also when I thought I understood the map more I would go online
and look at the floor plans the game company had given to the players to they
could examine them. Never before had I done this but it gave me inspiration to
start creating different maps of my own and thinking deeply into how players
would see the map and what I should improve to make it more enjoyable. Ever
since I’m still to find a game that could inspire me in such depth and I’m glad this
game is still being updated since I can keep learning from the game.
Key Influences – Destiny 2
• My final influence is destiny 2 since the franchise has been with me for 5 years and
became one of my favourite games very quickly. The company making it I’m not a
fan of but the game itself is outstanding in my eye. It’s got some of the best story
lines a game could have and has made mistakes which benefit the game entirely.
Not many games are able to kill the fans most favourite character and not get loads
of drama from it. Before no-one was able to pull it off and would end up killing the
franchise since people didn’t see reason to follow it. The game influences me since
it’s been planned carefully and made sure it has contingencies. Additionally, the
way the game plays is enjoyable having a detailed PVE and PVP game is difficult but
has been made so players enjoy both types and push players to be the best they
can be. It’s influenced the way I’ve thought about PVE fighting and how it should be
easy sometimes so players can have fun but also painfully difficult since many
players love challenges like that.

1. initial plans(2)

  • 5. Mood Board- Image 1 The reason I chose this as my first image was because it gave me loads of different types of inspiration. For example the way the characters are positioned to their destination, the way they carry and hold their weapons and the detail that the weapons have got on them. Also the scenery has been placed perfectly for you to see the difference in the destroyed city and the hill the characters are standing on. Finally the character design shows how much detail they’ve placed in hair, trousers, and shirts to pouches, scarves and arm bands.
  • 6. Mood Board- Image 2 The reason behind me selecting this image was because it gave me 4 different elements I knew I should look at improving. The first one being buildings and the textureing and shape to create them. Secondly, the fire as it wants to look deadly and threatening not weak. Thirdly the way the environment changes from a fire and look into what would crumble and fall/what will stay standing. Finally, the fourth element would be te characters movement, since it makes me wonder about many other situation characters action point would change due to their surroundings. Something I need to keep an eye on.
  • 7. Mood Board- Image 3 This image inspired me since I’m trying to find different environments and the way they’re represented. This image shows many different elements the snow could bring for example, shoe prints that show how many people go through the area, things like blood are a lot more visible in snow which means you can use it to symbolize certain areas as dangerous.
  • 8. Mood Board- Image 4 Continuing similar to the last image this one also caught my eye as scenery that could be used to show dangerous things like blood running down the stream, things hanging on trees. But the picture itself is peaceful making me think mages like this are able to be made into whatever you need them to be. Perhaps starting peaceful then getting more chaotic.
  • 9. Mood Board- Image 5 This image inspired me not from the ship but from the lighting of everything. This I because shadows can be very interesting since most the time they make the image instead of having a plain image. Additionally, shadows can be used to make certain parts of the ship stand out by using lights similar to this image.
  • 10. Mood Board- Image 6 This image inspires me as it shows many ways to represent the character. For example it give the character mystery why they’re in the shadows and what they're planning. Whilst you also ee they’ve part of a a task force and have committed their life to it.
  • 11. Mood Board- Image 7 I selected this image since it had different layers I could look at and focus on. For example there’s the front entrance with the shrubbery on the sides, as it’s the first thing you’d see it must have impact something I should look at trying to achieve. The house in the background doesn’t let down the front entrance by keeping the impact with all the different materials and shapes used to make such a beautiful image. Finally the sky has a massive impact on the image since It determines the lighting, if not perfect this image could look a lot worse but they’ve made it perfect so the viewer can appreciate the sky's aroura.
  • 12. Mood Board- Image 8 This image was to help me think at what I could create for an inventory screen, It made me wonder if I should have different menus for characters, quest items , and pickups or if it should all be in one like this.
  • 13. Mood Board- Image 9 This inventory was similar but had an aesthetic I liked as it showed the armour level and perks of each piece of weapon and armour. Whilst also having the background of where you’re currently positioned stead if putting a different menu in the way of the game
  • 14. Mood Board- Image 10 This image was found when I was looking through different H.u.d’s for games. This one caught me since it’s simplistic but you still have everything you need to know without over complication. It also shows a reward system with different ribbons for how well you play or by special things you complete like 1000 kills with a single weapon.
  • 15. Mood Board- Image 11 This H.u.d was different to the other which is why I liked it. It gave your teammates health and level on the side of the screen while on the right you have the map with you’re statistics which is different to many games that make you check the scoreboard for your current stats. Finally in the centre bottom there’s the ability list of what your character can do with a timer showing the cooldown of those abilities.
  • 16. Mood Board- Image 12 I found this when looking at different maps. Looking at multiple floor plans from games would help me create my own map and make it fair or both teams and also increase the challenge.
  • 17. Mood Board- Image 13 I saw these two characters when looking at different styles of character. The left character looks like a royal from the way here’s dressed but has high tech armour on potentially increase his power. Whilst the character on the right could be a suit of armour or a robot, either way the design is incredible making it look battle scared whilst looking new.
  • 18. Mood Board- Image 14 I placed this image into my mood board since I wanted to have a look at what types of designs could be achieved with different weapon types. The way the artist has added crystals to the weapons gives the weapon some form of life or even a name. The image is inspirational as I'm wanting to find a way to make weapons more unique and adding something special like a crystal would be a good thing to try out.
  • 19. Mood Board- Image 15 This image was looking more at firearms instead of melee weapons. I found that there’s always a knew look you’re able to give a weapon and this image shows that even current guns all look different in their own ways. Giving them personality.
  • 20. Mood Board- Image 16 This image gives inspiration of what power could look like emerging from a character and how it also makes them look more powerful and threatening. Additionally, this gives an example of how the power looks not only on the body but when it’s flowing around the person like an aura.
  • 21. Mood Board- Image 17 This image was to further expand my knowledge of inventories and what seems to be the most preferred variance for different games. The way the backpack links to the armour slots are useful and make it easier to change armour to suit your situation. Something people who play these games like the fact of that.
  • 22. Mood Board- Image 18 This inventory is slightly different to the last one as in this it has detailed stats of your different statistics. Also you have access to what people have dropped near you. You can also see other menus when in the inventory which makes it easy to swap between them.
  • 23. Mood Board- Image 19 The image inspires me since my drawing can always be improved and when looking at different styles I’m able to get inspiraton to create my own style of what I was looking at. This makes most my characters unique since they’re all thought of at different time, preventing them from being similar.
  • 24. Mood Board- Image 20 This image was chosen since hair is one of my weakest points in drawing and this image helps create your own look for characters and make sure that it doesn’t look like a block of colour. It also lets you experiment on what you want to create, for example mixing two hair styles together or trimming down one hair cut to look either better or worse.
  • 25. Mood Board section 1- scenery This group of images were all chosen since I found some form of inspiration in the scenery or the way they’ve laid out the scene. The top three focus more on the weather and how it effects the surroundings. These also have different moods that can be found within them. The bottom images were focused more on the layout of the image and the lighting used in them. The forest scene is laid out from left to right, the ship scene layout is top to bottom and the house scene is front to back. These three different layout types all benefit the different scenarios. This is something I should look at when designing my scenes and find out which one will best show off that scene.
  • 26. Mood Board section 2 -characters This section focuses more on the characters and the way they have been shown off in their art. Each one I selected because they were unique in their own different way whilst staying similar being just the character. The top left character I chose since they’re in the shadows and I thought it helped me recognise how different shading should be accomplished. The second image at the top gave me inspiration on attitude that could be shown from clothing and armour alike also it shows one of the best poses to present a character. The third image at the top gave me some inspiration on how I could represent the character having power and the way it can emit from them. The final image lower down gave me some insight of how I could use characters to make scenes more ominous. For example if they weren’t there the image would look bad but look too derelict. Whilst with the characters it makes the scene look better since other people are also witnessing this.
  • 27. Mood Board section 3- menus This section focuses more on the inventory portion of menus but has other menu selections available on the screen. The first two images are from more current games on the market and are looked at everyday to make sure they work well for the player, The images below show games that are older but were up near the top for their time. This means they’re at the best the developers believed they could make it before the game stopped further development. Putting two different ages together it gives me the option of which looks the best but also which gives the player more information and Is easiest to manoeuvre around the menus. They all also let me look at which would be best to give to the player for example the top left image puts you into an entire new menu, the top right puts it over where you currently are and blurs the background slightly, the bottom left places the menu in the middle and darkens the background, and the bottom right places it top the right of the game whilst still being able to move.
  • 28. Mood Board section 4- H.U.D’s This section focuses mainly on the h.u.d of games ad how they place certain displays to help the player in defeating their enemy. The top left focuses on FPS games and how it helps the layer focus on their ammo count, surroundings, the objectives and the equipment they can use. Whilst the top right image focuses on MOBA type games and those that use abilities. The selected image after going through the top MOBA games seem to be the basic style each MOBA goes for. They have abilities at the bottom with one being a super ability. A map somewhere on the screen along with their score, their teammates with health so a player can recognise when they need to go help somewhere else on the map, and finally items bought from a shop. These items can show information when hovered over by the mouse or show which button to press to use an items special ability
  • 29. Mood Board section 5- design types This section focuses on styles of different artists. The first image is a collective from twelve different anime which all have different styles. This allows me to search through them and merge some together or take little bits to add to my own style. Similar to the first the second image is hair styles from different anime. Something I’m weak at is designing hair so images like this allow me to get a further understanding of hair and possibly the flow the hair type has in wind and similar forces. The third image is designs for guns and how even when classed as the same varient of gun that they can come in many different shapes. If a character uses a gun, that gun type normally can reflect one the characters personality. Finally, the fourth image looks at melee weapons and also how malleable the weapon types can be.
  • 30. Mood Board Analysis How does your mood board inspire your project? • My mood board inspires many aspects of my project since I’m still figuring out a full plan for where my projects final goal will be. The images chosen benefit me since I’m always trying to improve my skills and become greater than I originally thought I would be. How will your mood board influence your final product? • I believe my mood board will influence my final project greatly since it I will use it to improve certain aspects of my work and the way I represent certain scenes. The I mages also will help me create characters in a way you can see their personality from the looks alone. Or have opposite personality to their looks. • I also feel like without the mood board my final project would look too similar to past projects since I wouldn’t of learnt any new information which isn’t something I aspire for. I want to improve and the mood board is a step towards that improvement. • Aspects that I would definitely use from my mood board would be the different eyes and hair that I found since they’re all unique to different artist which will help me create my own style. Another aspect I will use was the third image of the snowy road since I would like to have a scene that shows specific aspect like a helmet drop or blood since it adds more impact in my opinion. • Aspects I believe I wouldn’t use would be two of the inventory screens I found (17 and 18) since I believe they wouldn’t suit the genre and I want the inventory to be easy to access and have a smooth look with it. I also don’t believe ill get anything from image 11 since the game I’m planning on creating wouldn’t be multiplayer and doesn’t have the same needs that that H.u.d gives to the player.
  • 31. Key Influences - Bleach • The way I found bleach was through friends and it’s been one of my favourite shows since. The way it will influence my project would be more towards the characters and the traits those characters begin with and the evolution of those characters and traits. The reason why it influences my project is because I’ve never been able to make characters with good progression within them but bleach is something that did it perfectly. With the knowledge I have of the show I’m able to create my own unique power and use a similar evolution stage to bleach and slowly create my own style of character and power evolution. The images below show the way they’ve evolved one character over the course of many different episodes which is the kind if aspect I want to be able to try and but into my characters and see where I could take them and look at different roots that I could take them instead of one straight course
  • 32. Key Influences – Hunter X Hunter • A show I’ve been watching for many months before the project Hunter X Hunter influences the way I’ve created stories. The way it would influence my project would be the way the story of my project is created and planned out in a way that could potential hint at there being more when there really isn’t. The reason behind me being influenced by Hunter is because I personally could never make a story that didn’t feel like it ended after the first few scenes and I wanted to make something that could evolve in it’s own way.
  • 33. Key Influences – Hideo Kojima • Hideo Kojima has been influential to me for years now. Originally it was from his outstanding game creations and ability to create masterpieces. Now it’s his resolve that’s influenced me . How he would influence my project would mainly be the way of controlling the project. Kojima has made many games which inspire me but the way he controls the progress of those games would benefit me with my project. The reason why I believe his influence would benefit me is because he makes sure the project has everything happening at the correct times so the team can move to the next step of creation without having to take any steps back. He likes to make sure everything is perfect even if that means delaying the game by a few months. I need figure out how to perfect my craft whilst doing the project so I can meet the deadline. The games he created that influenced me is Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain since the character development shows what the designer thought, and Death stranding since even though it’s not out yet the artwork and storytelling is outstanding.
  • 34. Key Influences – Rainbow Six Siege • The game which gave many different influences is R6S since it was the first game I started to look more in-depth to. I would study characters and every possible thing they could achieve and learn when something wouldn’t be possible. I would create a private lobby where I could spend hours look in detail at the map and different key locations. Also when I thought I understood the map more I would go online and look at the floor plans the game company had given to the players to they could examine them. Never before had I done this but it gave me inspiration to start creating different maps of my own and thinking deeply into how players would see the map and what I should improve to make it more enjoyable. Ever since I’m still to find a game that could inspire me in such depth and I’m glad this game is still being updated since I can keep learning from the game.
  • 35. Key Influences – Destiny 2 • My final influence is destiny 2 since the franchise has been with me for 5 years and became one of my favourite games very quickly. The company making it I’m not a fan of but the game itself is outstanding in my eye. It’s got some of the best story lines a game could have and has made mistakes which benefit the game entirely. Not many games are able to kill the fans most favourite character and not get loads of drama from it. Before no-one was able to pull it off and would end up killing the franchise since people didn’t see reason to follow it. The game influences me since it’s been planned carefully and made sure it has contingencies. Additionally, the way the game plays is enjoyable having a detailed PVE and PVP game is difficult but has been made so players enjoy both types and push players to be the best they can be. It’s influenced the way I’ve thought about PVE fighting and how it should be easy sometimes so players can have fun but also painfully difficult since many players love challenges like that.
