2. For this design challenge I designed a website layout for a
amateur bird photographer conference. Also I made the website responsive.
Fledgling Conference Website Design Solution
My design solution for this website was to focus on making the website look in-
viting to people interested in amateur bird photography. I used a color scheme
of green and cream to make it look close to nature colors but not to over pow-
ering of green. For the logo I wanted to make it simple but still be able to tell
what the conference is all about.

AmericInn Hotel & Conference
Center Internship
Design Solution
My design solution was to focus on making the product
unified through all the print outs and use products that
would last from year to year. Also I wanted to use images
that came straight from the companies events.

Shipping Lady
This design challenge was for a family friend
starting her new business. She wanted a logo,
letterhead and a business card. She is a master
broker and helps people with transportation.
Design Solution
My design solution was to create a logo that
relates to her area of work so people would
understand right way what she does.
8. Mustang Article Website
For this design challenge I had to create a website for an article. I chose a
mustang article because I love horses and there is always an interesting story to
read. I wanted to create a website that would make the reading interesting from
start to finish through the website.
Design Solution
My design solution for this was to stick with the images that went with the
article and make it feel like you are part of the horse’s world.

10. For this design challenge I chose an artist that I really
liked and enjoyed viewing her work to create an artist
catalog based on her work.
Mary Whyte Artist Catalog
Design Solution
My design solution for this was to make her paintings the
main subject for the catalog because they are very detailed
work done with watercolor. I also added some detailed
images of my own watercolor work as the header of each
page.

12. Mercury Typeface Poster
The challenge for this poster was to take a type face and
show it’s history and what it’s funtion is all about.
Design Solution
The design solution I came up with was to focus on
Mercury’s funtion of being a newspaper header and also
show its fancy serifs.

14. Zodiac Calendar
The challenge for this poster was to create a unquie cal-
endar. Give the calendar a new look.
Design Solution
The design solution I came up with was to make a zodiac
calendar that showed how the days worked with each sign
and allow the customer be able to find their sign right
away.
16. Lunar Fire Stationery
This design challenge was to come up with a
company name using the words, bird & moon and
then make it look whimsical and elegant.
Design Solution
My design solution was to use a phoenix and a
crescent moon as the logo which has the words used
in all the images.
18. Pasta Vino Branding
In this design challenge I made a restaurant, starting by creating a name for the
restaurant, Pasta Vino, which is an italian restaurant that pairs wine with their
dishes. I created a website, wine label and menu for this resturant and
stationaries.
Design Solution
My design solution for this website was to make it unique by making the
scrolling go from left to right instead of up and down, and to get to a secondary
page you need to click on the image. Then I focused on the color palette of wine
and pasta. I kept the color palette within the wine lable and menu. I included
the wine itself by using it like watercolor for a splattered design on the menu
and wine label.

22. Senior Show Marketing
This project is a mailer and poster set that was designed in
collaboration with Tiana Runk and Katie Peterson as
advertising for our senior exhibition.
Design Solution
The solution for this design was to focus on the items each student uses for their
major and show it in the postcard. I used illustrator to create each individaul
tool and the group wanted it to be not perfect for the tools so I made the tools
as hand made as I could.
