Rationale:
Since starting the course I feel like I have gained so many new skills as from year 9 onwards I
didn’t really have due to not using any sort of computer or laptop unless it was coursework. I have
acquired so many new skills for when it comes to using a computer whether it be creating a
magazine cover, using new software I feel so much more confident using different software.
The last project was similar in some aspects because for my production I made a few different
magazine covers so I think this will have an impact on my project but a positive impact because I
can look at the products I made before to see what I did well or not so well and build up from the
parts that I feel may have been the let down in the last project but I’m confident that this will help
me create a really good product by the end.
Project Concept:
The concept for my project is a NFL styled magazine. I love the NFL and I enjoyed creating a
magazine cover as part of my adventure production so I thought why not combine the two together
and try use it as a way to educate people about a sport they may not know about or know very little
about.
I also want to show off what finding the sport and really getting into can do for people and having
an extra hobby can help you so much mentally and it also helps you meet new people so I also
want to include that side of the sport but mainly focus on the upcoming draft, the season just gone,
the history of the game and the super bowl and just the news around the NFL today.
How will the project be evaluated and reviewed:
When it comes to evaluating my work I’m going to make sure that I cram every last bit of detail I
can in order to make sure I get across the idea I was going for during the project. Every project so
far I have made sure that when it comes to evaluating I have always tried to double check the work
again before going deep into the evaluation. This project is important so when it comes to
evaluating I know I will have to double check, triple check everything and hopefully that means my
project will be brilliant by the time the deadline arrives.
