The Pitch
Asmall but determined
big-eared penguin named Aldo
decides to visit the forbidden
‘outer world’ to find out who’s
responsible for global warming.
Soon lost, Aldo finds himself in
a world he knows very little
about and is ill prepared to
handle. With sheer determina-
tion and will, along with a few
colorful friends he meets along
the way, Aldo melts his way into
the hearts and minds of every-
one he meets in the big city.
BASED ON A TRUE STORY
THE PENGUIN
The Story
Born premature, small in size and with big ears,
Aldo the penguin finds himself on the outer
fringes of the penguin community. Ostracized
and alienated by his peers, Aldo one day decides
to prove everyone wrong and sets out for the
forbidden ‘outer world’ to find out who’s
responsible for global warming. Aldo travels
halfway to the new world on the back of his new
friend, Humphrey the Humpback whale, who
saved him from ending up as a ‘penguin-burger’
from Sharkey the Shark. Once in the big city, Aldo
is frightened and scared by all the noise and
pollution that he finds in the bustling
metropolis. Terrified, he seeks refuge in the
back yard of the Robinson family. There he
meets eight-year-old Emily, who befriends the
little penguin and pledges to help him find the
answers to his important questions. Together
they set out on a journey filled with excitement
and adventure.
Our Mission
Is not only to entertain audiences, but
also to raise social awareness to one of
the greatest threats facing our global
community today. Every day, new and
alarming studies show the increasing
dangers and effects caused by global
warming. Through education and
entertainment, we hope to raise
awareness in order to combat the
devastating effects on our planet
before it’s too late. We want to bring
people together in ecological unity. It is
our goal to market Aldo as a children’s
book, which will also prove
entertaining for adults, as Aldo
continually faces new obstacles and
adventures. As these stories will be in
short story form, they will prove
extremely appropriate in a bedtime
story setting. This will also help reach
the widest audience while
simultaneously promoting literacy. In
addition, Aldo will be promoted as a
television show and a full-length
feature movie.
