LECHE MAGAZINE LLC
I started a local publication as a
marketing tool for local businesses
and individuals that are pursuing
their passion. This magazine has a
variety of content which includes:
advertisements, interviews, feature
stories, photography, and graphic
design.
I have released three volumes and
have hosted release events for two
of them. For my second release,
I was invited to the Dulles Expo
Center and sold over 150 copies of
the publication.

are very reputable. Forbiiidden

Grill accumulates a lot of business
as well at both their Ashburn and
Haymarket locations in Virginia.

helped Leche Magazine grow.

6. WRITING
I have been writing since highschool,
but when I transferred to George
Mason University, I began to dive
into journalistic writing due to my
concentration in journalism.
No writing has been published, but I
believe my work is still of high quality
and still deserves to be read. Any
writing can always be improved though,
I hope to learn through experience and
help.
Ashlee White by Francisco Ochoa
Ashlee White, born and raised in the DMV area, has
always used her surroundings and life experiences
to express her inner emotions. As a poet, this
came naturally to her, but one day she decided
to take advantage of her natural talent. With her
debut album, Chameleon, released in July of 2021,
she used this as an outlet to share the words that
were being written down but not being spoken out.
Chameleon is not only an album that evokes pathos
by putting all feelings on the table but also expresses
ethos in the sense of building up the character and
courage to do the right thing in a relationship for
the long-term outcome. Songs like “Chameleon”
emphasize trusting the intuition and not settling for
less while using soft intimate sounds; this reels you
in on a personal level that unlocks memories that
were once forgotten despite the situation. On the
other hand, songs such as “Temptations Tongue”
and “Heart of Gold” explain that love is simply a
byproduct of both parties sharing mutual feelings.
Love is inevitable no matter how hard you fight it,
and Ashlee makes sure to relay this. Despite the
obstacles that were being presented to her, Ashlee
just saw this as her golden ticket to do what she
was meant to do, express herself. “The pen was
always quiet,” says Ashlee, but now Chameleon is
a body of work that is screaming for all the words
that were staying silent.
With now over 400,000 listens across all streaming
platforms, Ashlee White is a force that has not been
to the peak yet, but at the pace she is going, the
peak is only becoming more visible to her.

7. Jordan Spady by Francisco Ochoa Parrando’s by Francisco Ochoa
In the music industry, a lot of praise is given to the
artists. Where are the manager’s flowers though?
Here at Leche Mag, we are big believers that anyone
contributing to the success of a team, deserves a round
of applause. Jordan Spady, Ashlee White’s manager,
is a person that has allowed Ashlee White to grow as
an artist and as a person. When it comes to managing,
Spady executes tasks such as booking shows, finding
videographers, and finding artists that can be featured
onAshlee’stracks.NotonlydoesSpadymanageAshlee
White, but he also manages Pari Blanco, another
musician in the Virginia area. What makes Spady stand
out though is that he doesn’t simply manage artists,
he is also associated with a creative collective called
N’TUNE. N’TUNE is an official business that houses
creatives such as musicians, photographers, and
videographers. This allows Spady to work with like-
minded individuals and gain a different perspective
from the various mindsets around him. This also helps
him in his own career of managing.
Spady shared that his major goal with Ashlee is to
continue to allow her to express her ideas freely and
for her to have a sustainable career. I asked Spady if
he thought his work as a manager is valued and he
said, “Hell yeah, I get reminded often. It can be as
simple as a thank you from Ashlee.” Jordan Spady
may be lowkey and hidden away, but just know that
he is constantly working behind the scenes giving his
100% so he and his artists can succeed and eat. Spady
closed off with some words for the people, “you have to
be your biggest supporter.”
As a young 10-year-old boy, surrounding himself with a family that was always working on
their businesses. Juan Carlos Uribe was 100% certain that he wanted to indulge in the world
of entrepreneurship, not only to own his own business but also to keep the promise of buying
his mother her own home. In the third world country of Colombia, the American Dream was
not readily achievable, nor was it very visible. Despite the harsh reality, Juan Carlos would not
let that hold him back from achieving his long-term goal. At the age of 17, he took the initiative
of working with his father’s recycling company. Not only did this teach him responsibility, but it
also allowed him to identify the skills he possesses. Soon after this, Juan Carlos was presented
with the opportunity to manage a gas station that his father owned. Taking on ventures such as
these has molded him into the conscientious person he is today.
Although much knowledge was being consumed, it just was not enough for him to settle. The
next big move was to move his wife and two kids to the United States with himself in search of
a better opportunity to achieve this so-called American Dream one day.
Upon his arrival in the US, diving into the restaurant business, Juan Carlos’ labor was the usual
starting work that consisted of cleaning the bathrooms then washing the dishes day; this work
was countless hours being punched in. But in this time of hustle, his mentality of working the
familiar labor began to shift into a business viewpoint. Following this, Juan Carlos began to
climb through the ranks in the industry. From becoming a manager to owning a percentage of
the restaurant, he was working for. The work was not being viewed as a regular full-time job,
but it was starting to be considered a career that can still be present for the years to come.
In 2016, the opportunity of opening a restaurant was presented to Juan Carlos. Relentlessness
was written all over his face. With blood, sweat, and tears being poured into this new journey,
he was able to showcase to the world his passion project, Parrando’s Tex-Mex Grill. Parrando’s
has a wide variety of dishes, such as La Tablita, one of the hefty and tasteful plates that
Parrando’s offers. The various enchiladas that Parrando’s cook can either contain chicken
or beef or seafood as well. If you crave more greens than the Parrandos Salad is calling
your name, chicken, steak, or seafood can be accompanied by the yummy veggies served.
As delicious as all the food sounds, what is a Tex-Mex without tacos, though? Parrando’s
allows their customers to choose from their sizeable taco section that includes Tacos al Carbon
served with either chicken or steak, Tacos Reynosa that comes with either chicken or steak,
and avocado and pineapple to top it off.
Also, the Fish Tacos are served with pan-fried white fish and many more that we cannot name
because it will have your mouth watery. If you are 21 or older, you must try the wide range of
drinks served as well. Parrando’s provides quality drinks such as Margaritas that are blended
with sour mix, triple sec, and house tequila, Mojito’s that are mixed with rum, mint, fresh lime
juice, and simple syrup, Daiquiris that can come in the flavors of Piña Colada, Tropical or
Strawberry, and last but not least, the Sangria that fills your mouth with a flavorful taste that
will never be forgotten. When walking into Parrando’s Tex-Mex Grill, you feel right at home.
Right from the jump, you are being greeted with a happy smile, and from the moment you get
seated, you are attended with full attention and respect. The service provided at Parrando’s is
what has customers coming in every day of the week. This is what Juan Carlos Uribe lives for;
seeing families, couples, and friends leave with smiles on their faces.

8. LowLife Rekords by Francisco Ochoa Forbiiidden Vintage by Francisco Ochoa
LowLife doesn’t necessarily have the representation that
would generally come to mind when first seeing or hearing
it. The name LowLife is a unique acronym for Living Our
Way, Life Is Forever Enormous. Christhian Martinez (Low),
Randy Rios (Dusty), Mikel Corum (Kels), Siddiq Mustafa
(CD), and Maxwell Gomez (JamesJoint), also known as
LowLife, are a colony of diverse buzzing bees that never
seem to sleep regardless of the time and day. “LowLife
represents life, taking things and doing them your own
way,” says Christhian. Every individual who is a part of this
brand, music group, collective, or whatever you want to
label it has something to bring to the dinner table. Whether
it’s Christhian stitching on a new design onto an article
of clothing, Randy spitting a new bar into the mic for an
upcoming single, or CD filming a new music video to drop in
the coming weeks.
Each one of them bounces off of each other in total
harmony, and nothing less is ever shown than that. People
may see LowLife as a group of guys that just produce
music for no reason or work on clothing to pass the time,
but LowLife is the exact opposite. LowLife is a place where
self-expression is accepted beyond everything. LowLife is
a secure way to allow creative juices to flow. Still, overall,
LowLife is a family of five guys that never let their burning
passion meet an end. They all live their lives their own way,
knowing that life will always be forever enormous.
In the Northern Virginia area, the vintage scene was not as
crowd-pleasing as in other cities; reselling brands such as
Supreme, Bape, Vlone, and many others was the talk of
the town, selling vintage pieces was not. In 2018, Fabricio
Gamarra and Chris Claure realized the oversaturated market
of reselling sneakers/streetwear was not what they were
called for. Forbiiidden Vintage, a group, exposing the local
community to the big world of vintage clothing for the past
three years. Ranging from vintage Nike gear that is seen
being worn by the grandpas in the old family photos to vintage
Disney tee’s that open up the gates for nostalgia to flood in.
In the beginning, Forbiiidden Vintage consisted of Co-owners
Fabricio Gamarra and Chris Claure. Still, new partners were
being introduced to the group through the years. Today, Annali
Menjivar, Luis Gamarra, Maya Dumas, Bryan Sanchez, and
Jerry Zamora put in endless work. Forbiiidden Vintage is
popularly known for hosting the vintage flea market known
as Euphoria, located in different Northern Virginia locations.
Various resellers can set up booths to either show off their
museumesque inventory or sell the gear they have been
sourcing for months to send it off to new homes.
