• SIMPLE BAR DIAGRAM
If the classification is based on attributes and if the
attributes are to be compared with respect to a
single character we use simple bar diagram.
Simple Bar diagram comprises of a group of
rectangular bars of equal width for each class or
category of data.

• Sub Divided/Component Bar Diagram
A component bar diagram is used for comparing two
or more sets of statistical data, as like multiple bar
diagram. But, unlike multiple bar diagram, the bars
are stacked in component bar diagrams.
This diagram is constructed by sub-dividing the bars
